⭐The legalization of marijuana for medical reasons is viewed favorably by many Americans, including members of the medical community and Congress. Some of the arguments for medical marijuana include:

⭐Marijuana is effective in relieving nausea and vomiting. Studies have shown that pharmaceutical cannabis can decrease nausea caused by chemotherapy used to treat cancer and almost completely eliminate vomiting.

⭐Marijuana can relieve the spasticity of the muscles that is sometimes associated with multiple sclerosis and paralysis.

⭐Marijuana can help treat appetite loss associated with conditions such as HIV/AIDS and certain types of cancers.

⭐Marijuana can relieve certain types of chronic pain, including neuropathic pain.

⭐Marijuana is safer than some other medications prescribed to treat the same symptoms. For example, it may be used instead of opioids for pain management. Opioids are highly addictive and are typically not recommended for long-term use in treating chronic pain.

⭐Studies show that smoking marijuana alone (without the concurrent use of tobacco) does not increase the risk of lung diseases.

⭐Cannabis does not need to be smoked to be medically beneficial. Products such as cannabidiol (CBD) oils, topical pain relief treatments, edibles, and other non-smoking applications are now available.

⭐As research continues, more of the individual compounds in cannabis are being found to be beneficial. When isolated—such as CBD has been—these may lead to further advancements in medical treatment options without the “high” produced by the compound commonly known as THC. Marijuana has been used for centuries as a natural medicinal agent to good effect.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The Cons⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

For every person who advocates for the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes, there is another who argues against it. Some of the arguments from the opposition include:

⭐Frequent marijuana use can seriously affect your short-term memory.
⭐Frequent use can impair your cognitive ability.
⭐Smoking anything, whether it’s tobacco or marijuana, can seriously damage your lung tissue.
⭐Smoked marijuana contains cancer-causing compounds.
⭐Marijuana carries a risk of abuse and addiction.
⭐Marijuana has been implicated in a high percentage of automobile crashes and workplace accidents.
⭐Marijuana is illegal under federal law. It is classified as Schedule I drug in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), alongside heroin. This classification says that the substances have no currently accepted medicinal value.

đŸ€“Joe Rogan is no stranger to voicing his opinions about marijuana legalization. And while Rogan normally talks favorably about cannabis, he had some harsh words for corporate monopolies in the marijuana industry on his recent podcast.

đŸ€“Rogan made headlines earlier this year when Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk appeared on his podcast and smoked weed alongside the host. The incident got Musk in trouble with investors and the federal government.

đŸ€“â€œSo weed is gonna be legal, but only a couple of companies can grow it and monopolize,” Rogan said. “That is such a corruption, that’s like saying: you can have tomatoes, but we are the only ones that can grow these f*cking tomatoes. Like why? It’s a f*cking tomato! That’s a law against nature.”

đŸ€“Cannabis, also known as marijuana among other names, is a psychoactive drug from the Cannabis plant used for medical or recreational purposes. The main psychoactive part of cannabis is tetrahydrocannabinol, one of 483 known compounds in the plant, including at least 65 other cannabinoids.

Cannabis and Christmas, two of our favorite things. This year dear friends and family (Framily) that work at marijuana dispensaries and/or are growers in the weed legal state of Oregon got together for a Christmas feast and what a fabulous feast it was.
Budbutter or Cannabutter was cooked into everything for this Christmas Cannabis Feast. In fact, 4 pounds of nug butter was used… potency was not a problem.

THC TURKEY
We used a 12lb turkey and cooked it 4 hours at 350 degrees F. in a turkey bag. We did not cook stuffing into the bird. The cavity was filled with fruit (1 apple, 1 orange, some grapes) instead of stuffing. We seasoned budbutter and rubbed it between the meat and skin along with placing a scoop in the cavity with the fruit and rubbed more cannabutter on the outside before placing it in the bag.
The turkey was amazing and carried no marijuana taste whatsoever.

STONER STUFFING OR DANK DRESSING
Celery, onion, mushrooms, turkey liver and giblets all chopped finely, seasoned with sage, thyme, salt & pepper, and combined with 3/4 cup (1 stick) budbutter. In a side bowl whisk 2 eggs. Then pour eggs, 1 cup of chicken broth and veggie/butter mix over crisp pulled french bread. Bake 90 minutes at 350 degrees.

LUNCH LADY BROWNIES / CANNABROWNIES
Mix 1 cup of budbutter, 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of sugar, 4 eggs, and 4 tsp of vanilla and blend until smooth. Use 9×13 baking dish and bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
420 FROSTING
1/4 cup of budbutter, 1/4 cup of 2% milk, 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 cups of powder sugar. Mix & spread over warm brownies.

CANNACORNBREAD
For this feast, we used a store bought box and substituted budbutter for butter (which you can do with ANY recipe). Cornbread requires much butter so really any cornbread recipe or box mix will do… ours was yummy. Especially with budbutter melted on top.
ACCENT & SIDE DISHES
We just steamed veggies and melted the butter into them. Mashed potatoes are an awesome candidate for budbutter or you can serve baked potatoes with cannabutter on top.
Tinctures can be used in most deserts and of course…leave a dish of nugbutter on the table to top off any of these dishes.
Make sure you have non-medicated courses for minors or those who do not want to partake, make sure no one has to drive and Dig In!!!!

You probably heard of stories of everyday American becoming millionaires by investing in marijuana stocks? Some have even became billionaires in this lucrative market. Your asking yourself “how can I get involved in this? You come to right place and I will tell you how! The legal cannabis market is currently $10.8 billion. And could grow to $100 billion in the US, and $1 trillion globally in the next 5 years. It’s a perfect time to invest in marijuana stocks. Here’s how:

Step 1: Open a free brokerage account. If you already have a brokerage account check these 3 stocks.
Acreage Holdings, Inc. (ACRZF) which former house speaker John Boehner join this company fully integrated cannabis firm. Dispensaries and processing operations in 14 states and soon to go to 17 states. The company is a major player and is only getting bigger. When recording this video the stock was trading at $17.75 down -0.01 -0.07%.

Emblem Corp (EMMBF) was taken public in December 2016, large producer medical grade cannabis.

Green Organic Dutchman (TGOWF) became public may of 2018, it was mediately held the largest cannabis IPO ever. This company is building cal-aviation facilities in Ontario Canada, Quebec canada, and Jamaica. These companies are with $1.6 billion today. There are both Canada firms. Canada just ended there probation. Cannabis is just in the beginning stages of this boom.

USA is where the action is going to be for awhile. Revenue has grown quadruple since 2014. Hitting $10.82 billion dollars. Cannabis businesses have employed 200,000 jobs. That trend is not going to slow down either. Forbes predicted by 2020 could have more cannabis jobs in the US than manufacturing jobs. Full legalization could create 1.1 million jobs. If you never traded stocks before, the first thing is open a brokerage account. They are free to open.

Step 2: prepare to strike quickly. Companies like cannagrow shoot up 456% in a month and a half. Inmed pharmaceutical jump 617% in 4 months. Or mentor capital skyrocket as much as 1,828% in less than 6 months. As soon as you get your brokerage account open you’ll want to put money to work. That means turn $50 or $100 investment into a potential life changing. I am planning on putting a few hundred dollars to work in 2019. Not all cannabis stocks are created equal. That where step number 3 comes in.

The cannabis craze has caught fire across the country, with ten states already passing recreational marijuana laws. Now, with legalization on the horizon for the tri-state, Colorado may offer a good example of what life can be like with legal weed.

Marijuana has sparked profitable opportunities for large-scale growers, producers and retail distributors in the Rocky Mountain state. Colorado’s Department of Revenue reported more than $266 million in revenue since recreational marijuana became available for consumption in 2014.

This is the best way to make THC infused vape juice using your weed/bud! It’s also the easiest, yay!

*WHAT I USED TO MAKE MY JUICE* ❀
(In order of use)
Cannabis x 7g
Grinder
Baking / parchment paper
Glass casserole dish lid
Tin / aluminium foil
Empty clean jam jar with lid
Syringes (10ml & 5ml)
(I use 8ml of fluid per 1g of weed, made up of:)
Vegetable Glycerin x 18 ml (30%)
Propylene Glycol x 42 ml (70%)
Baking / parchment paper and celotape for funnel
Teaspoon
Straight sided saucepan
Glass Bowl
Potato ricer
Cheese cloth
(new pack of dishcloths works fine, use 2)
Spatula
More syringes (10ml & 5ml)
Empty vape bottles for final product

*HOW I MADE MY JUICE* ❀

Pre heat oven to 115 degrees C
Or 240 degrees F
Or just below gas mark 1

Cut baking paper to fit inside casserole lid
Grind weed and place into baking paper
Spread evenly
Cover with tin foil, make sure you cover as well as possible leaving no gaps, so none of the goodness escapes.
*please recycle your foil guys*
Place in middle if pre heated oven, set timer for 30 mins
Remove from oven after 30 mins and leave covered, to cool for 20-30mins (so the goodness soaks back into the weed).

This above ☝ decarboxylation process is REALLY IMPORTANT!!
**If you don’t do this your end product won’t be very good at all, and there is a chance you will have just wasted 7g of nice weed**

Whilst your weed is cooling, measure our your base fluids into your jar.
(It’s good to recycle old jars you’ve used around the house, good for the environment guys!)

Make a funnel from baking paper using a small amount of cellotape, you can reuse this each time.

Get your saucepan and heat up some water on the hob, have the lid on to speed up the heating, but you will need to remove to cook the juice up, of course.

Once your weed is cooled, use the baking paper you cooked it on to transfer to the funnel and pour into the jar.
Use the spoon to ensure the weed has all been covered by the liquid.
Place the lid on the jar, and pop the jar into the saucepan ensuring it’s on the LOWEST heat setting. (Doesn’t matter on the temp as long as it’s NOT TOO HOT.)

Set your timer for 30 mins, at this time agitate the jar to ‘stir’ the mixture, reset and stir every 30 mins for a total of 3 hours 30 mins.

Once all done, leave to cool for around 10-15 mins.

Setup your potato ricer into the bowl with the cheese cloth placed over the potato ricer ready to empty the jar into.

Empty the contents of the jar into the cloth, use a spatula for this part, then squeeze your ricer together, and the filtered juice Will come out of the bottom into your bowl.

Measure out into your vape juice containers.

All done!!

5 Mistakes To Avoid When Growing Marijuana

1. Lack of light: Whether it’s outdoors or in an indoor grow room, marijuana likes light. A very common mistake with outdoor crops is choosing a bad location where the plant doesn’t receive enough hours of direct sunlight. If you have an indoor crop, you might be trying to save money by reusing the light bulbs too many times (we recommend that you change the bulb after two harvests, that is, after around six months), or maybe the ballast is too old (more than two years) and this can cause a reduction of the amount of light reaching the plants. Make sure that the reflector is free of dust and that the light is reflected correctly. We recommend using the so-called Adjust a wings.

2. Lack of ventilation: A very common mistake in indoor growing is a lack of ventilation. Make sure that the space, whether it is a cupboard or a room, has a good air intake and exhaust system and that it works correctly. Having one or several fans (depending on the size of the crop) is also important so there’s proper air circulation and so that the wind they create makes the stalks grow harder and more resistant.

3. Incorrect humidity levels: If the humidity in your marijuana grow room is too high, your chances of seeing fungi appear in your crop rise significantly. In turn, if the humidity is too low, the plants can suffer stress because this forces them to use too much water and they’ll be stifled. Ideally, humidity values should range between 40% and 50% during the flowering phase and between 50% and 60% during the growth phase. You should prevent the humidity levels of your grow room from diverging from these parameters.

4. Temperature: This is a vitally important factor for your crop; both if it is too high or too low, it can cause serious problems for the development of the plants, hampering a correct metabolic process. If the temperature is too low, the plants won’t develop; if it’s too high, the yield will fall and pests and diseases will appear. The ideal temperature is between 21 and 27 ÂșC.

5. Exposed roots: Roots need darkness, if they’re exposed or they receive light through the container or hydroponic system they’ll turn green and their functions will be significantly reduced, thus affecting the correct absorption of nutrients.

Marijuana, also known as cannabis, among other names, is a preparation of the Cannabis sativa plant – the hemp plant, intended for recreational and medicinal uses.
The main psychoactive chemical in marijuana is delta-9-tetrahydro-cannabinol, or THC. The Cannabis plant preparation also contains other compounds that are chemically related to THC, called cannabinoids.
THC is chemically similar to a class of substances found naturally in our nervous system called endogenous cannabinoids, or endocannabinoids, of which anandamide is best known so far. The endocannabinoids are part of a newly discovered system named the Endocannabinoid system, or ECS.
How the ECS works
The ECS acts as a modulator of neurotransmission.
When the postsynaptic neuron is activated, endocannabinoids are produced, released, and travel back to the presynaptic neuron where they activate cannabinoid receptors. By doing so, they control what happens next when the presynaptic cell is again stimulated. The general effect is a decrease in the release of neurotransmitters such as GABA or glutamate. In other words, the ECS acts as a “brake”, slowing down neuronal activities, preventing neurons from excessive firing.
Some examples of ECS functions include:
– Pain modulation: cannabinoids suppress pain signal processing, producing pain relief effects.
– Stress and anxiety reduction: The ECS has been implicated in the habituation the body’s response to repeated exposure to restraint stress.
– Mood regulation: the ECS promotes “good feeling” by inducing dopamine release in the brain reward pathway. This explains the euphoria, or the “high”, experienced by marijuana users. THC mode of action is however different from other drugs: it induces dopamine release INDIRECTLY by removing inhibitory action of GABA on dopaminergic neurons.
The ECS is also involved in many more bodily activities, including appetite, memory, learning, sleeping patterns, immune functions and fertility.
So how can marijuana be harmful if it does exactly what our body already does to itself?
The endocannabinoids are short-acting transmitter substances. They are synthesized on demand and their signaling is rapidly terminated by specific enzymes. Marijuana users consume a much higher amount of THC. THC is also much more stable and can persist in the body for a longer period of time.
THC overwhelms the EC system, overriding normal brain functions. Because cannabinoid receptors are present in many parts of the brain and body, the effects of THC are wide-ranging. It can slow down a person’s reaction time, which could impair driving or athletic skills; disrupt short-term memory and higher thought processes, which could affect learning capabilities and judgment ability. Higher doses of THC may also lead to reverse effects. Consuming marijuana by smoking may also damage the lungs to a similar extent as smoking cigarettes.
Long – term effects of THC
Substantial evidence from animal research indicates that marijuana exposure can cause long-term adverse changes in the brain. Long-term effects of marijuana in human are still debatable mostly due to difficulties of conducting research in human beings.
Medical uses of marijuana
While recreational use of marijuana is without doubt harmful, the Cannabis plant may be a valuable source of medicines. Currently, the two main cannabinoids from the marijuana plant that are of medical interest are THC and cannabidiol, or CBD. These chemicals are used to increase appetite and reduce nausea in patients undergoing cancer chemotherapy. They may also be useful in reducing pain and inflammation, controlling epileptic seizures, and possibly even treating autoimmune diseases and cancers.
