DeSantis shares views on Amendment 3: Florida’s recreational marijuana measure
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Medical. No Comments on DeSantis shares views on Amendment 3: Florida’s recreational marijuana measure
If approved by at least 60 percent of voters, the proposal will amend the state’s constitution to allow adults 21 and older to possess, purchase or use marijuana for non-medical purposes.
The initiative is sponsored by a group called Safe and Smart Florida. Trulieve, a marijuana dispensary company with several medical dispensaries in Florida, is a main financial backer, campaign finance data records show.
Florida would join 24 other states that have legalized recreational marijuana. It would still be illegal under federal law.
Supporters like well-known Florida attorney John Morgan have argued it’s time to treat marijuana like alcohol. But Gov. Ron DeSantis has called the proposal extreme, claiming it will allow pot use anywhere.
Viewers like Cynthia K. in Palm Harbor have contacted VERIFY with questions about the amendment and claims being made by supporters and opponents. Cynthia asked if ads that say passing Amendment 3 will generate “billions” for schools are true.

Organic Farming and Food Independence for More Sustainability
For a long time, there has been talk about the need for more sustainability in our food system. The way we grow and raise food has a profound impact on the environment, our health, and the economy.
One way to increase sustainability in our food system is to embrace organic farming. Organic farmers use practices that are often much better for the fruits and vegetables and they don’t use harmful pesticides and herbicides.
They also often times build soil health which increases the longevity of the farm. When we grow our own organic crops, we are helping to create a more sustainable food system.
We are also working towards food independence, which means we are less reliant on the industrial food system that is usually out of our control.
What is organic farming?
Organic farming is a system of agriculture that relies on ecosystem management and ecological principles rather than the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
Organic farmers work with natural systems to build soil fertility, promote crop health, and control pests and diseases.
Organic agriculture can be defined as an ecological production management system that promotes and enhances biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil biological activity.
It is based on minimal use of off-farm inputs and on management practices that restore, maintain, or enhance ecological harmony.
The key characteristics of organic farms include:
– A focus on environmentally sustainable practices
– The use of renewable resources
– Management strategies that minimize pollution
– Promoting biodiversity
The benefits of organic farming
Organic farming has been shown to have a number of benefits over traditional farming practices. These benefits include improved soil health, increased biodiversity, and reduced pesticide and fertilizer use.
Organic farmers also tend to use more sustainable farming practices, such as crop rotation and cover cropping. This can lead to increased soil fertility and improved water conservation.
Additionally, organic farms are often better able to withstand drought and extreme weather conditions.
Perhaps most importantly, organic agriculture can help to promote food independence.
By supporting small-scale farmers and producing food locally, we can reduce our dependence on large-scale industrial agriculture.
This is good for our economy and our environment.
There are many reasons why growing your own food matters. Perhaps the most important reason is that it helps to create food independence. When you grow your own food, you don’t have to rely on grocery stores or other sources of food. This is especially important in times of crisis, when the supply chain may be interrupted.
Growing your own food also allows you to know exactly what’s in your food and how it was grown. With so much talk about GMOs and pesticide use, it’s reassuring to be able to look at your food and know that it was grown organically and sustainably.
Finally, growing your own food is a great way to connect with nature and get some exercise. Gardening can be a very therapeutic activity, and it’s a great way to get outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Medicated Chocolate Bars | Easiest Edible Recipes
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Baking. No Comments on Medicated Chocolate Bars | Easiest Edible Recipes
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKzYzHdIcZov_T3JMxGZhMA
Here is my first and EASIEST Edible Recipe! These medicated chocolate bars are 400mg each! 200mg if you cut them in half.
Ingredients:
chocolate of your choice
MCT oil or coconut oil
& either distillate or RSO
Some equipment you’ll need is:
a pot
a heat safe bowl
a rubbing spatula
a pyrex dish
Measuring utensils
a plastic syringe
And then you’ll need a mold for the chocolates.
How to find out how many mg thc is in your edibles is super easy… you just need to know the total THC of the product and the amount of product you put in. Once you find the Total thc mg in the concentrate, just divide that number by the the amount of treat you made, so 800 mg thc divided by 20 candys = 40 mg thc candy

Late Signs:
Widespread Yellowing: Yellowing spreads upwards from the lower leaves beginning with the fan leaves.

Preventative measures is the best way to grow plants to avoid nutrient deficiencies. A balanced nutrient feed is the best solution and by using fertilizers that provide all the essential macro and micronutrients in appropriate ratios, you will fix problems before they develop.
Preventing Nutrient Deficiencies: 6:46
1. Use a well balanced feed schedule. They are available for all different mediums on hwgrow.com
2. Good Watering Routine – Prevent Over and Underfeeding: Avoid overfeeding, which can lead to nutrient lockout and water logged soil which will suffocate your roots. Understanding the wet and dry cycle is recommended, this can be done either by muscle memory or fingering the soil. Underwatering will lead to dry pockets or salt buildups in the soil, which can create abberations in soil pH and ppm, resulting in isolated deficiencies throughout you plant.
3. Maintain Proper Environment: Ensure your growing environment (temperature, humidity, and light) is optimal. Environmental stress can exacerbate nutrient deficiencies. Light burn could look like a deficiency: https://youtu.be/PwYrH3utgug
