There are many great premade mixes out there but i like to know exactly what is in my soil so i create my Compost in small scale hand crafted batches with majority of ingredients from down to earth ammendments using @Coastofmaine bar harbor blend with added nutrients and my “Black Gold” compost and periodic compost teas.
Coast of Maine is a great Local East Coast Based compost supplier with grade a products.
Down To Earth is a great company based in Oregon you can check their site to find a local supplier near you and support a small business ( its also much cheaper that way than shipping to your house)

In this weeks episode i will be going over how my recent light. breaking led me to reevaluate all the current. best LED grow lights on the market compared to sun light and cmh bulbs. I will also go into why a more well rounded full spectrum is the best for the plants and a spectrum with only blue and red will be slacking in a lot useful energy that used to be thought of as wasteful when LED/s first hit the market. but we are way beyond the days of blurple LEDs and CMH or ceramic metal halide used to be the best thing closest to sunlight but now dare i say it and i know some will still defend them but the evidence shows, LED’s have actually surpassed the capabilities of even the best CMH bulbs. but they are few and far in between and most new lights are still using outdated spectrum off of outdated studies, so i will shows you in this video whos ahead of the industry standards and why i chose the lighht i chose to replace it with out any bias as this video is not a paid promotion, only an honest personal review. another. quick tip in this segment is if if a bbranch snaps accidentally while trainingg you can actually tape it back together and it will heal bback together, so as you see in this case i over bent this branch but i actaully didnt mean to snap it, so im goingg to tape it up and youll see within a week it will be healed enouogh to tremove the tape and reveal a hardened stem thats actually sturdier than before the bbreak.
