The making of this time-lapse took far longer then anticipated. Over 500,000+ photos were taken in total and roughly 400,000 were selected for the video. One of the main challenges faced in finishing this video was capturing footage during the plants “sleeping period.” Once this issue was resolved the #bloom phase could be finally documented. I found this extremely important as most #timelapses only record the hours with daylight and miss many crucial moments in the plants sleeping period.

Aside from thousands of photos to sort through, another issue was the use of music in this project. #Royaltyfree music Is hard to come by, especially ones that fit your video style. Thankfully I had access to #Filmstro and #EpidemicSounds which have thousands of royalty free tracks to choose from. This video shows the right way to trim your plants before going into flowering or during the early part of flowering. Trimming the lower 1/3 of your plant will increase yield and also make sure that you end up with only solid nugs that are easy to trim.

Have you ever seen a plant that had a bunch of larf buds on it? Larf buds are fluffy buds that dry up into shake. If you have, then you know that it is just the worst to trim! It takes forever and you know it’s not going to produce. One way you can avoid this is by making sure to utilize your Cannabis plant’s energy toward the top buds. You can do this by trimming the lower 1/3 of the Marijuana plant. When the plant is finished you will also save a lot of time trimming because the bottom of the plant will not be covered with larf buds. It is an overall win, win!

This is an update of my indoor legal medical marijuana garden on day 20 flowering. I am using colloidal silver to spray my female GDP plant so it produces pollen instead of female flowers. This pollen will be crossed with another female GDP cultivar, as well as with 10 other strains for F1 hybrid crosses.

The purpose of making seeds is to preserve my favorite genetics for future use so I don’t have to keep so many plants, as well as to create new crosses with hopes of something magical happening. These seeds are NOT for sale, trade and no I will not send any out. Please don’t ask.

Strains include: Mendo Grape Kush, Trainwreck (Arcata cut), Candyland, GDP, Racefuel OG, Ogiesel, Tangie #5, Tangie #3, Harlequin and Black Cherry Soda.
