The best way to germinate cannabis seeds!!

Best method I have found so far for germinating marijuana seeds, simply wet a warm paper towel and wring it out. Place the seeds in a fold of the towel and place in a small sealed container, place under your bed and you will have seeds in two – three days, sometimes more for different seeds.

For lettuce and small very tiny seeds I simply place them in a bowl of luke warm water for a couple days and use a chopstick to remove the delicate root/seed from the water and place it in a pre-soaked rockwell cube or dirt.

Ive tried many different ways of germinating seeds , from using heat mats to paper towel methods , you name it ive tried it , and ive lost many seeds in the process, what I came to realize ,I Was having better success rate with the simplest method. plain reverse osmosis water and a medium to hold the seed , anything from soil ,to coco, root pods and even rock wool .

There are many different methods to germinate cannabis seeds, but this guide is here to help you understand how to germinate marijuana seeds the Homegrown way, the Kyle Kushman way.

If you’re stuck figuring out how to germinate weed seeds then this video is definitely for you. When you combine America’s best seed bank with a true cultivation expert in Kyle Kushman, chances are you’re going to get information that will be both informative and helpful!

So, you want to know how to germinate marijuana seeds? We don’t blame you, this is arguably the most important step for having a successful grow.

If you don’t germinate your seeds correctly then, to put it simply, they won’t grow at all, let alone thrive. However, if you do germinate weed seeds correctly then you have taken the all-important first step in rearing successful and productive plants.

To successfully germinate cannabis seeds using the ‘paper towel’ method shown in this video, you will need:
Cannabis seeds
Water
Paper towels
A plate

Directions:

1. Pour 200 ml of purified water into the beaker. Then, add a drop of liquefied seaweed, and mix thoroughly.
2. Pour the seeds in the germination mix, and give it a little stir. Let it sit for 24 to 48 hours.
3. Prepare four (4) to six (6) sheets of plain paper towel. You need to create a bottom and top (cover) paper napkin folding; both made up of two (2) to three (3) sheets. Take the four corners in the middle, creating a two- to three-layered square fold.
4. Put one paper towel on the plate. The folded side with four triangles should be facing the plate.
5. Pour some of the water and seaweed mix on the paper towel to moisten it. Then, put the seeds on top.
6. Put the other paper towel on top as a cover. It will soak up all the extra water. Make sure there is no free-standing water under the plate.
7. Leave the plate and its contents in a warm, dark place.
8. Every 12 to 24 hours, check back to make sure the paper towels are still wet.
9. Once 48 hours have gone by, you should see beautiful little sprouts.

Now you have germinated seeds, it is time for you to plant them. I’ll show you the best way to do it in the next video.

This is a complete technique, including on-screen notes and final results, so be sure to stick around for the end. Grodan Rockwool Cubes are really great for starting and hydro growers. PH Neutral, they no longer require soaking! If you’ve had trouble with poking them into the ground, or paper towel methods, I think you will find success with this technique.

The primary advantage of this method is that the roots are hardly able to be touched, thus never very disturbed. This should also be helpful for auto grows which usually need to avoid transplanting.

How to Sprout Cannabis Seeds

If you’re looking to reap a bumper cannabis harvest, then don’t forget first to sprout the cannabis seeds before you sow them.

Higher the germination of the seeds, richer the crop!

Sprouting helps the seeds grow quickly, and you get the crop earlier.
In this video, we take you step by step to sprouting the cannabis seeds so that you get a basketful of buds this fall.

Take fresh and healthy cannabis seeds according to your growth plans.

Now take a wetted paper towel and keep it on a plate.
Take care. If the seeds are not fresh and stored properly, even then that will do.

Rub their edges on a sandpaper very gently to peel off the shell.

Soak the desired quantity of seeds in water for about 12 hours.
Now put cannabis seeds on the paper towel.

Cover the plate with a lid and keep it in a warm place.

Ensure that paper towel is adequately wet to hold the humidity.
This‘ll soften the shell and help early germination.

Continue to wet the paper till a whitetail appears coming out of the seed shell.
This may take 4-5 days or even a week.

Wait until the whitetail grows to a ¼”.

Now your germinated seeds are ready for sowing.
Pick them carefully and sow them in the planting medium.

Germinate the seeds as explained above, plant them and get plenty of 100% organic buds.

I’ve always germinated my cannabis seeds in RO water with a pH of 7.0 and never knew what other pH levels would work for germination. Therefore, I decided to do this pH germination experiment.
