In this video I want to talk about A Beginner’s Guide to removing moss from your lawn.
Moss can take over your lawn if conditions like poor drainage, compacted soil, or too much shade are present. Here’s a straightforward guide to help you remove moss and improve your lawn’s health.
Step 1: Identify the Cause
Moss thrives in conditions such as:
• Poor drainage
• Compacted soil
• Excessive shade
• Low soil pH (acidic soil)
• Weak or thinning grass
Addressing these issues will help prevent moss from returning.
Step 2: Remove the Moss
1. Manual Removal:
• For small patches, use a rake to pull up the moss. A spring-tine rake or scarifying rake works best.
• For larger areas, consider renting a dethatcher or scarifier for more efficient moss removal.
2. Moss Killer Treatment (Optional):
• Apply a moss killer product designed for lawns. Look for one with ferrous sulfate (iron sulfate) for effective control.
• Follow the product’s instructions carefully and apply during dry weather.
• After the moss turns black and dies (usually within a week), rake it away.
Step 3: Improve Lawn Conditions
To prevent moss from coming back:
• Aerate the soil to improve drainage and reduce compaction.
• Overseed bare patches to encourage thick, healthy grass growth.
• Adjust the pH by applying lime if the soil is too acidic.
• Improve drainage by leveling low spots or adding sand to heavy clay soil.
• Increase sunlight exposure by trimming overhanging branches if shade is excessive.
Step 4: Maintain Your Lawn
• Mow regularly but avoid cutting the grass too short.
• Water deeply but infrequently to promote strong roots.
• Fertilize appropriately to keep your lawn healthy and competitive against moss.
By following these steps, you can clear your lawn of moss and create conditions that help your grass thrive.

Tag 23 – und die Amnesia Hypro x Jack47 Auto lässt die anderen Pflanzen regelrecht stehen! 
Sie ist locker 10 cm größer als die Gorilla Glue #4 x Northern Lights Auto und zeigt bereits ihre ersten Blüteanzeichen!
Auch die hintere linke Gorilla Glue beginnt, Pistolen zu schießen, was bedeutet, dass sie bald in die Blütephase übergeht. Die hintere rechte Gorilla Glue, die eine Woche jünger ist, wächst solide, aber kommt an die Amnesia nicht ran. 
Gießen & Düngung:
4 Liter Wasser mit The Happy Cannabis 
(organischer Dünger)
Zusätzlich 0,3 ml CalMag pro Liter, da die Pflanzen unter 24h Licht stehen 
Letzte Woche ebenfalls 4 Liter gegossen
Licht-Umstellung:
Sobald die Pflanzen in die Blütephase übergehen, werde ich den Lichtzyklus von 24/0 auf 18/6 umstellen, damit sie sich besser erholen können.
Spinnmilben-Update 
Gute Nachrichten aus dem Zelt meiner Frau: Die Raubmilben haben die Spinnmilben erfolgreich bekämpft! 
Dennoch bleibt die Gefahr einer Übertragung – also bleibt Vorsicht das oberste Gebot!
