Canada sees first day of cannabis legalization

After years of study, fierce debate, and a relentless campaign of public persuasion, Canadians are now free to enjoy legal cannabis, from coast to coast to coast. While many rejoiced and celebrated as they were able to purchase their buds legally for the first time, the vision of what a pot-permissive Canada looks like still remains somewhat hazy.

Ohio Medical Marijuana Questions and Answers 2017

My name is David and I currently hold an Ohio Medical Marijuana recommendation card. These cards are a temporary version until the full version is released, probably in early September of this year. I decided to make this video because I seen that many other people out there are having the same questions as I am in regards to the new medical laws in Ohio. In this video I will discuss what I have learned to be legal vs what’s known to still be considered illegal. One big thing in Ohio is we are only allowed to vaporize the product. If we abuse the card and get caught smoking the marijuana, we would loose our card and medical privileges. I just got my card this week and it is late in the month of May in 2017. I have been asked why I got the card when Ohio doesn’t have any dispensaries yet…the answer is Michigan! Ohio residents with a medical card can travel to Michigan dispensaries to get their medicine, although state and federal laws still make that illegal. if it sounds confusing, that’s because it is! Ohio has until September 8th of this year to have all off the medical marijuana laws and stipulations complete. We are only months away now in the great state of Ohio, we just happen to be really behind and restricted compared to other states who have legalized as well. In Ohio you can possess plant material, oils, edibles, tinctures, but can only vaporize it under Ohio Law. The dispensaries in Michigan will sell you up to two and a half ounces per visit, with no limit to how many times you come each month. Ohio law only allows you to possess a 90 day supply at one time, but currently the law does not state what a 90 day supply is. the lines between what’s legal and what isn’t are very blurry here! I try to answer as many questions as I have answers to in this video and I hope that it helps you as you journey into this new option of treatment with me in the Buckeye state. Please leave any additional comments and questions below and I will be sure to get back with you as soon as I can.
