NEVER Defend Yourself Again – How Cannabis Gives You Real Power

What if the most powerful people in history—emperors, warlords, and genius strategists—used cannabis not for pleasure, but as a secret weapon to dominate their enemies? This video reveals the forbidden connection between cannabis and power, exposing how Machiavelli’s most ruthless tactics were enhanced by this ancient tool.

Discover how cannabis was used to:
Master emotional control and make opponents fear your stillness
See hidden levers of power that ordinary minds miss
Flip attacks against your enemies so they destroy themselves
Build unshakable reputation through calculated mystery
Reset your mind daily like history’s most feared rulers

From ancient Hindu warriors to Wall Street traders, the elite have always known: real power isn’t about force—it’s about perception. And cannabis was their best-kept secret for shaping reality.

This isn’t about getting high. This is about getting even.

Facts about Medical Cannabis

Facts about #medical #Cannabis
1. Who consumes the most?
The United States is the world’s largest medical‑cannabis market. In 2024, combined medical and adult‑use sales exceeded $31 billion, and projections for 2025 reach $35 billion. No other country comes close to these volumes.
2. European leader
In Europe, Germany is out in front: by 2027 more than 311 000 patients are expected to hold official cannabis prescriptions.
3. Three indications with the strongest evidence
Robust, “gold‑standard” data support medical cannabis only for:
• chronic pain,
• chemotherapy‑induced nausea and vomiting,
• spasticity in multiple sclerosis.
4. Other common conditions
Physicians also prescribe #cannabinoid medicines for rare epilepsies (Epidyolex), post‑traumatic stress disorder, migraine, Crohn’s disease, and HIV/AIDS‑related appetite loss. The evidence is weaker here, but clinical data are growing.
5. Medical ≠ “regular” cannabis
Medical products are tightly controlled for CBD : THC ratio, purity, and absence of pesticides. Most programmes prohibit smoking; oils, capsules, sprays, or vaporisers are preferred. Recreational strains, by contrast, often contain two‑to‑three times more THC and have unpredictable profiles.
6. Authorised medicines
Key products include Sativex (a 1 : 1 CBD/THC oromucosal spray for MS spasticity) and Epidyolex (pure CBD solution for seizures). Dronabinol and nabilone are synthetic THC analogues used for nausea and weight loss.
7. Geography of legalisation
Thirty‑seven US states plus the District of Columbia—and more than 50 countries worldwide—run official medical‑cannabis programmes.
8. Money and trends
The global medical‑cannabis market is valued at about $21 billion (2025) and is forecast to reach $68 billion by 2033. Demand is rising 7‑8 % per year, especially in the Asia‑Pacific region.
9. Side effects
The most typical are dizziness, dry mouth, increased appetite, and a transient rise in heart rate. High THC doses can trigger anxiety or short‑term cognitive impairment, so doctors titrate the dose gradually.
10. What’s next?
Research continues: scientists are exploring cannabinoids as opioid alternatives for pain, anti‑inflammatory agents in IBD, and even adjuvant oncology therapies. Regulators remain cautious, approving new indications only when evidence is strong.

What is medical cannabis?

Medical cannabis refers to cannabis or cannabinoid‑based medicines produced under pharmaceutical GMP and dispensed only by prescription for specific conditions (chronic pain, MS spasticity, CINV, rare epilepsies, etc.).
• THC, CBD, and terpene content are strictly standardised.
• Batches are tested for pesticides, heavy metals, and microbes.
• Smoking is often banned; oils, sprays, and vaporisation are preferred.

What is recreational cannabis?

Recreational cannabis is the plant or product consumed for non‑medical purposes (relaxation, psychoactive effect).
• Typically contains higher THC levels (10 – 30 %+).
• Quality and safety are regulated on legal markets—or unregulated on illicit ones.
• Dosing is chosen by the user, not a doctor, which raises the risk of side effects.

Bottom line:
• Botany gives us sativa, indica, ruderalis.
• Chemotypes tell us how much THC and CBD a plant contains.
• Legal status splits cannabis into industrial, medical, and recreational.
• Medical cannabis is “pharma‑grade” and prescription‑only.
• Recreational cannabis is “for leisure,” higher in THC, with self‑selected doses.

Cannabis Is More Dangerous Than You Think

Cannabis today isn’t the same as it was 20 years ago.

With THC levels skyrocketing, more people are experiencing cannabis-induced psychosis, leading to long-term psychiatric diagnoses like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Some assume bad trips last only hours, but I’ve seen cases where symptoms persist for months or even years. Nearly half of those with cannabis-induced psychosis later receive a schizophrenia diagnosis.

At the same time, Big Cannabis is using the same deceptive marketing tactics as Big Pharma—hyping benefits while minimizing risks. Young people with developing brains are especially vulnerable. Could some psychiatric diagnoses actually be cannabis-induced brain injuries that could have healed if use had stopped?

Medical Marijuana For Anxiety | Discover Marijuana

In today’s video, Tim and Blake talk about how medical cannabis can be used to help with anxiety. Medical marijuana can be used to help with anxiety but there are some considerations that need to be taken into account.

Click here to schedule your Medical Marijuana Card appointment: utahmarijuana.org.

When looking at anxiety and really any mental health concerns having lots of CBD in your medicine is important. Marijuana can help reduce the need for benzodiazepines and other medications but you need to work with a qualified QMP to make sure you are getting the right dosages of the right meds.

What questions do you have about medical marijuana for improving your anxiety or other mental health conditions?

Tim Pickett, a Utah QMP and founder of http://utahmarijuana.org, meets with patients daily to recommend medical cannabis. Having a certain CBD dosage on hand as you ease into this treatment is highly recommended, especially if you are unfamiliar or made uncomfortable by the euphoric head high that comes with cannabis. CBD will help to tap that feeling down a bit.

Your other host, Blake Smith, CSO of http://zionmedicinal.com, a Utah CBD and cannabis company, has studied cannabis and the endocannabinoid system for years, and it shows. While Tim takes over how to use CBD, THC, and loads of other cannabinoids to help different ailments, Blake will explain WHY CBD works for Parkinson’s, pain, seizures, etc. for a full spectrum view of your treatment. We believe this will help patients take control of their own healthcare — something that hasn’t been possible in many other areas.

We are so excited to welcome a very special guest — Josh Fitzgerald — to Discover Marijuana season 2! Josh is Pharmacist in Charge at Deseret Wellness’ Provo location. He’ll be joining Tim & Blake this season to give a fresh perspective on Medical Cannabis in the Utah space and beyond.

Which Is Worse: Marijuana or Alcohol? | Dr. Daniel Amen

One of the most common things people want to know is whether alcohol or marijuana is worse for your brain and overall health. The scientific evidence and the brain imaging work at Amen Clinics show that neither one is good for you. Alcohol is not a health food, and marijuana is not an innocuous substance. But is one of them more damaging than the other?

At first glance, it might seem that alcohol does the most damage to our brain health and general well-being because it is more widely used. Over 85% of American adults say they’ve consumed alcohol at some point in their lives, and nearly 70% say they’ve had a drink in the past year, as reported by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Compare that to just 18% of Americans who said they used marijuana in 2019, according to the CDC. Although not as widespread, the harmful effects of marijuana on the brain may be greater. Let’s take a closer look at some of the worst consequences of drinking and marijuana.

Marijuana Use and Its Impact | Fact Check

The fact that marijuana and cannabis products are increasingly legal doesn’t mean that using marijuana is without risk. For example, marijuana use is the primary reason young people enter substance use treatment. High levels of THC, which is the chemical in marijuana that most affects the brain, has been linked to a variety of mental health problems. Finally, marijuana is the drug most often found in the blood of drivers involved in car accidents.

In our latest video, recovery advocate and mother Carleah Summers provides all the details parents and family members need to know about marijuana – what it is, how it works and the negative effects that could result from using it.

“Problems with marijuana use can be prevented,” Summers says. “The longer teens delay use, the less likely they are to develop a marijuana use disorder or addiction. We can all play a part by supporting policies and programs that prevent or reduce marijuana use among teens and by not normalizing its use as a harmless way to have fun.”

Understanding Medicinal Cannabis and its uses

Since cannabis was legalized in Canada for both recreational and medicinal purposes, you might be wondering if cannabis could help the person you’re caring for.

In addition to recreational use, cannabis, also known as marijuana, is being used by many Canadians to help to improve symptoms of their medical conditions. More people, including those over 65 years of age are using cannabis every day, and many are finding that cannabis gives them relief from common problems like pain or trouble sleeping, but it’s not for everyone.

In this video, we’ll review what cannabis is, how it can help, what the risks are and what steps to take if you think it’ll help someone you’re caring for.

Cannabis is also known as Marijuana.

What Mental Health Professionals Need to Know About Medical Marijuana

This is a recording of a webinar presented 6/14/18 for the National Board of Forensic Evaluators. Medical marijuana is now broadly or partially legalized in 28 states, though it remains illegal under federal law. Variation in state and local laws can create confusion for mental health professionals. Additionally, the expansion of medical marijuana raises a large number of questions for mental health professional in both clinical and forensic settings, such as:

1. What does the law say about medical marijuana in my state?
2. What is the difference between medical delta-9-tetrahydracannabinol (THC) and medical cannabidiol (CBD)?
3. How do I know whether my client is using medical marijuana therapeutically vs. abusing it?
4. What does the research say about what conditions medical marijuana might be helpful for, and which ones it can make worse?
5. What are the risks, side effects, and potential drawbacks of medical marijuana?
6. How do I know my client is overmedicated?
7. If my client uses medical marijuana, can employers discriminate against him or her?
8. What do I do if a client is referred to me for substance abuse treatment but is legally taking prescribed marijuana?

This 2-hour webinar seeks to provide attendees with answers to some of these questions, and resources for others.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the difference between medical THC and CBD.
2. Differentiate between the risk reduction perspective and total recovery perspective on marijuana use for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental disorders.
3. Identify what disorders might be treated by medical marijuana.
4. Familiarize yourself with the positions of major healthcare associations on medical marijuana.
5. Learn about dosing recommendations and indications for medical marijuana.
6. Identify adverse health effects, side effects, and risks associated with medical marijuana.
7.Review a list of questions to answer about medical marijuana laws in your state.
8. Explore strategies to differentiate between marijuana abuse and therapeutic use of medical marijuana.
9. List several preventative strategies to implement when working with clients who use medical marijuana.
