Winooski resident Kim Jordan is thankful to still be with us today after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. This past February, nearly two years after her diagnosis, she was told by the Vermont Cannabis Control Board (CCB) that she needed to apply for a medical cannabis card to continue getting her treatment. “I applied on paper because there was not yet an online option to apply for the CCB cannabis medical card yet” said Jordan. But now, there is an online option, and scammers have found it and are taking advantage of it.
