The federal ban on hemp-derived THC products was supposed to take effect this November.

But that timeline just changed.

Congress has now passed (and Trump has signed) legislation delaying the ban until December 11, giving lawmakers more time to work on a regulatory framework for hemp-derived THC products.

But what exactly is being banned and what does this mean for THC-infused beverages?
