While medical marijuana is legal in the state of California, marijuana grows are still in a legal grey zone and surrounded by a degree of danger. Grows in Los Angeles are at risk from police and federal agencies on one side and gangs and criminals on the other. For those who do decide to build a grow in the city, the risks reap rewards.
