Medical Marijuana Chocolate Spaceflyin Chip Cookies

I had some free time so decided to share a quick easy recipe for some medicated cookies. I was definitely high before I shot this, as you can tell by me using words like “fridgerate”.

My Ingredients:
*Betty Crocker Cookie Dough Mix
*1 Stick of Beyond Mars cannabutter (approx 114 grams/400mg THC)
*1 Egg

These ingredients are dependent on the cookie mix you pick up. Easy Peezy. I pick up cannabutter from my local dispensary in Colorado. You can also use your own cannabutter, it’s easy to make.

**I used 400mg of THC, and seperated it into eight cookies. The resulting effects are about 50mg THC per cookie. Two cookies, and a glass of milk make for a nice breakfast to start the day.

HOW TO MAKE CANNABUTTER FOR COOKING WITH MARIJUANA

Before proceeding with this recipe please read our article on dosing. It will help you to decide exactly how much cannabis to include in your butter.

Here are the things you will need:

slowcooker (crockpot)
coffee or herb grinder
tinfoil or wax paper
cookie tray
1 quart water
stirring utensil
large metal strainer
cheesecloth
1 lb butter
1/4-1 oz bud* see our article on dosing
Using a clean bud grinder or coffee bean grinder, grind up the bud to a coarse grind. Don’t make it too fine.

Spread it evenly on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or tinfoil.

In an oven preheated to 240º bake buds for 1 hour. Stir at midpoint. This process is called decarboxylation and it helps activate the THC prior to absorption into the butter.

In a slowcooker set to low – no more than 200ºF (93ºC) – add the decarboxylized buds, the butter and the water. Simmer for 2-4 hours. Stir once per hour.

Pour the butter and water into a container and put in freezer. Make sure the shape of the container you use will allow you to remove the frozen block of butter and water.

The butter and ice will separate and freeze. The ice block portion can be removed from the butter and thrown away. This freezing step helps get rid of chlorophyll and other plant flavours from the butter.

Warm the butter in the slow cooker until its melted. Using a strainer lined with cheesecloth, strain the butter into a container. Use a spoon to push the butter through the cheesecloth and strainer. The purpose of this step is to strain out plant particles and purify the butter.

Butter can be kept in fridge for up to 2 weeks and kept frozen for up to 6 months.

Cross Eyed Monkey Bread Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar (1/2 brown sugar 1/2 granulated)
1/2 Cup (1 stick) unsalted cannabis butter, room temperature
2 large eggs
3 ripe bananas
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups all-purpose flour (1/2 cup wheat 1-1/2 cup white)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Butter a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Cream the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.

In another larger bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon and salt.

Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined.

Gently fold in the dry ingredients mixture, walnuts and chocolate chips mixing just until the flour disappears.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Set aside to cool on a rack for 15 minutes.

Remove bread from pan, invert onto rack and cool completely before slicing.

Coconut Macaroons Dipped with Marijuana Chocolate Recipe

Macaroon Ingredients:
1-1/3 cups flaked coconut
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
2 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Marijuana Chocolate Ingredients:
2 tbsp Cannabutter
About 1 cup of chocolate chips (or baking chocolate)

Optionally top with chopped nuts. almonds, dried cherry, etc…

Preheat oven to 325 Degrees and grease a medium large cookie sheet.

Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the coconut, sugar, flour and salt. With your hands gently mix,
combine and smooth the dry mixture.

In another small bowl add the two egg whites and vanilla; mix well beating with a mixer or whisk until glossy.

Combine the wet and dry mixtures and toss together until combined thoroughly.

Drop by rounded tablespoon onto greased baking sheet.

Bake at 325° for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool on a wire rack.

Using a double boiler, melt the 2 tbsp of cannabutter.
Add the chocolate a little at a time keeping it mixed well until a shiny and thicker chocolate sauce develop.
Dip the cooled macaroons into the chocolate sauce, cool, dip again and drizzle chopped nuts on top if desired.

Let cool completely and enjoy.

Yield: 1 dozen Medicated Macaroons.

Gourmet Hash Oil Chocolate is a basic but delicious chocolate recipe using hash oil to create your own marijuana edible candy bars, cookies and desserts. This is a rich, dark chocolate that stands up on the counter if using Cocoa Butter and in the fridge if using coconut oil and pack a wallop if you use strong, activated hash oil.

Ingredients:
1 Cup (240 ml) Cocoa Butter (Or Coconut oil)
1 Cup (240 ml) Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder
1/2 Cup (120 ml) Honey or Maple Syrup or substitue
1 tsp (5 ml) Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup (60 ml) Chopped Nuts (Optional)
10 grams Hash Oil Concentrate *

* The amount of hash oil used depends on your dosage requirements and the potency of your oil. Dose yourself accordingly using standard mathematics.
