Inside new medical cannabis vape lounge open in Banbridge

A new medical cannabis vape lounge has opened in a Co Down town with the aim of helping others and creating a wellbeing space for the whole community.

Cannabase NI has been opened by Jocelyn Stewart at The Mall, Banbridge, in order to create a safe and welcoming space for prescription cannabis users in Northern Ireland and other members of the public as she aims to promote good mental health practices and healthy living.

The 30-year-old mother of three is currently a user of medical cannabis and credits it with giving her a new lease in life after years of being prescribed opioid medications, which she says destroyed her quality of life and mental health.

What is vape juice made of?

What Is Vape Juice and How Do You Use One?
Vape juice, also known as e-liquid or vape oil, is the liquid used in a vape device to create vapor. We make it from a combination of cannabinoids (like CBD or THC), flavorings, and a carrier liquid.

Our vape juice comes in a wide variety of flavors, designed to suit every taste. We offer options with just CBD as well as a blend of CBD and Delta 9 THC, giving you the flexibility to choose the perfect product for your needs.
When you use a vape device, a coil heats the liquid inside (vape juice) and turns it into vapor. Users then inhale this vapor through the device’s mouthpiece.

The cannabinoids and flavors come through in this vapor. This lets you enjoy the effects and tastes without burning anything. Vaping is a cleaner choice than traditional smoking.

The Best THC Vape Juice Flavors
One of the best things about CleanAF vape juice is the wide variety of flavors available. Whether you prefer something sweet and fruity, or cool and refreshing, we have a flavor that’s perfect for you. The Science Behind Medical Cannabis and Arthritis | Discover Marijuana

Today on Discover Marijuana, Tim and Blake dive deep into Medical Cannabis for arthritis pain. Arthritis requires a multi-prong medical approach and today we’ll talk about why.

Medical marijuana has been used for pain for decades. With modern science, Zion and other cannabis companies are able to create medicines to treat arthritis pain without the fear of feeling high. A combination of tinctures, balms, and vape carts can be used to treat everything from acute pain in a single spot to chronic widespread pain.

Tim & Blake know that medical cannabis is new to most of us, and that many of us have questions. Even though CBD has been widely accepted across the country, many are still left wondering about it. Discover Marijuana is all about getting you the information you need to dispel the myths and allow you to know the options you have when looking into plant-based medicine.

Tim Pickett, a Utah QMP and founder of http://utahmarijuana.org, meets with patients daily to recommend medical cannabis. Having a certain CBD dosage on hand as you ease into this treatment is highly recommended, especially if you are unfamiliar or made uncomfortable by the euphoric head high that comes with cannabis. CBD will help to tap that feeling down a bit.

Because CBD has been popular and legal for much longer, many of those appointments start with the same few questions. “Is CBD safe? Does CBD work? What are CBD tinctures? What are the CBD side effects? Can I have a CBD overdose?” A basic understanding of how to use CBD is the foundation to a healthy relationship with cannabis, and because of this, Tim will often recommend CBD for beginners to plant-based treatment.

Your other host, Blake Smith, CSO of http://zionmedicinal.com, a Utah CBD and cannabis company, has studied cannabis and the endocannabinoid system for years, and it shows. While Tim takes over how to use CBD, THC, and loads of other cannabinoids to help different ailments, Blake will explain WHY CBD works for Parkinson’s, pain, seizures, etc. for a full spectrum view of your treatment. We believe this will help patients take control of their own healthcare — something that hasn’t been possible in many other areas.

YouSpeak: Should Medical Marijuana Be Legalized?

On November 6, Massachusetts’ residents will vote on a ballot initiative that would legalize medical marijuana. The controversial measure would allow people with glaucoma and chronic illnesses that cause severe pain to buy marijuana with a doctor’s written recommendation, at designated dispensaries.

With the election just seven weeks away, this week’s “YouSpeak” asks: Should medical marijuana be legalized?

Medical Marijuana For Neuropathy Pain: Marijuana for Beginners | Discover Marijuana

In today’s video Tim and Blake talk about how medical marijuana effect can be used to help with neuropathy, including neuropathic pain. One of the benefits of using CBD, THC and CBG for neuropathic pain is that you can often treat the pain without causing further issues like some medications do.

Pain is one of the most common ailments medical marijuana is used for. Neuropathic pain is a special case and today Tim, Blake and Josh talk about how adding CBD and CBG to your medical cannabis regime might be beneficial.

What questions do you have about medical marijuana for neuropathic pain?

Tim Pickett, a Utah QMP and founder of http://utahmarijuana.org, meets with patients daily to recommend medical cannabis. Having a certain CBD dosage on hand as you ease into this treatment is highly recommended, especially if you are unfamiliar or made uncomfortable by the euphoric head high that comes with cannabis. We believe this will help patients take control of their own healthcare — something that hasn’t been possible in many other areas.

We are so excited to welcome a very special guest — Josh Fitzgerald — to Discover Marijuana season 2! Josh is Pharmacist in Charge at Deseret Wellness’ Provo location. He’ll be joining Tim & Blake this season to give a fresh perspective on Medical Cannabis in the Utah space and beyond.

Treating Pain with Medical Marijuana

“I could see endocannabinoids as being a really good conduit to relieving the opioid epidemic.” Nathan Fried, assistant professor of biology, discusses the potential of medical marijuana for replacing opioids as a pain treatment.

Fried joined the Rutgers University–Camden faculty in the fall of 2018. He specializes in neuroscience and is currently studying the connections between sleep and pain, to identify opioid alternatives for chronic pain treatment.

Jessica Robinson-Papp, MD: Medical Marijuana for Neurologic Conditions

In recent years, with the legalization of medical marijuana in a number of states, the interest in developing and researching marijuana for medical purposes has increased. However, challenges persist for the physicians who are trying to do so. Federal laws tightly regulate marijuana’s use and make it difficult for studies to be conducted and for trials to be planned, and the diversity in marijuana laws has created a non-standardized situation for those who practice within states where its use is legal.

Jessica Robinson-Papp, MD, MS, professor of neurology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is one of the physicians with an interest in medical marijuana and its potential uses. At the 2019 American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she gave a presentation to help inform those who were interested about the laws, the current evidence for its efficacy, and the obstacles which complicate the situation.

In an exchange with NeurologyLive, Robinson-Papp spoke about what’s currently known about its use across a spectrum of conditions like epilepsy, neuropathic pain, and multiple sclerosis; how cannabidiol (CBD) fits into the conversation; and what still needs to be done to have a real understanding of marijuana’s place in medicine.

MEDICAL CANNABIS

The anecdotal evidence that cannabis has a positive effect on a long list of medical conditions from epilepsy, pain, cancer, even Alzheimer’s Disease is building. However, to date there’s been scant clinical evidence to back up these claims. At long last that may be changing. Researchers are now applying scientific rigour to convert anecdote into data and it turns out there could be plenty of promise in this so-called “wonder weed”. #ABCcatalyst
