Decarboxylation of Cannabis Recipe – Time & Temp Explained for Great Results
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Baking. No Comments on Decarboxylation of Cannabis Recipe – Time & Temp Explained for Great Results
There’s lots of recipes on the web, we explain why we do it the way we do it to optimize your conversion of THCA into THC. Too much heat is just as bad as too little, so measuring temperature is the first step to success. Decarboxylation is a science, and a little know-how applied to your next run will surly maximize the yield of your conversions.
I’ve made /many/ medicated candies using this time and temperature recipe, and I’m always looking for improvements. Checkout the link to a scientific journal that calls for 110 degrees C for 110 minutes to optimize THCA conversion. I’m going to prioritize trying out this alternative recipe for decarbing and will post updates soon! thanks!
