10 Top Tips for Growing Auto-Flowering Cannabis Plants
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Grow. No Comments on 10 Top Tips for Growing Auto-Flowering Cannabis Plants
Auto-flowering cannabis is extremely easy and advantageous in yielding plants in a very short time, sometimes as little as 6 weeks from germination.
Today we have listed our Top 10 Tips for Growing Auto flowering plants, reaping the ultimate benefits whilst producing heavy yields.
Tip #1: Plan your Grow before you begin.
Because auto-flowers have a pre-set lifespan you need to first plan everything. Review your whole setup including pots, lights, airflow, and growth medium whether it’s indoor or outdoor! A little mistake may result in lesser yield so be careful and plan ahead.
Tip #2: Choose the Right Pot
Auto flowering cannabis doesn’t like being repotted, so stop Pot transplantation. Growth rate is fast for auto flowers and repotting can disturb their progression. It’s better to use 11-18 liters of growing medium as a first and final pot so their roots can grow freely without becoming bound. If you are going to repot, do It sooner rather than later!
Tip #3 is Proper Nutrients Supply
Remember to avoid supplying nutrients in the Seedling phase. Auto flowers have a smaller root mass so try to be gentle in supplying nutrients. Otherwise your plants can suffer from nutrient burn and can be easily killed with heavy fertilizers.
Tip #4 Provide Light
For indoor growing, Try to give them 20/4 or 18/6 of light hours throughout their lifespan by HPS & or LEDs. However, for outdoor growing, 10 to 12 hours of natural sunlight should be sufficient.
Tip #5 Don’t Overwater
Try to sprinkle water to moisten dry soil. Otherwise overwatering will invite the bad bacteria to stick around the plant roots and further down the line can cease plant growth entirely. So AVOID OVERWATERING! Check out our previous video for more on that.
Tip #6 is to Check PH
Always use a proper PH meter or testing kit for better results. The PH level varies according to different mediums such as 6.0 to 7.0 for soil, and 5.5 to 6.5 for hydroponic growth. Moreover, PH variations suggest a disturbance in nutrient levels. So keep an eye on it at all times!
Tip #7 Train Your Auto-flowers
Use Low-Stress-Training techniques and try to avoid topping and pruning as it causes a poorer harvest. Make sure to get them equal light using strings and toothpicks, yoyos and zip ties for better growth.
Tip #8 create the perfect Environment
Auto flowers are reliable and should display healthy growth around 20-25 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, make sure to have good airflow and proper moisture, and use shading in hot sunny outdoor climates. You can also consider adding additional Co2 to aid plant growth.
Tip #9 Harvest Patiently
Indeed, all buds can be harvested at the same time, but bear in mind top buds often mature faster than lower buds. So, start harvesting from matured flowers and leave the lower ones for later on. This technique will give you greater yields.
Last but not least,
Tip #10 Take care of them
Along with nutrients, lightning and watering, make sure to pay love and attention to your autos. In return, you will be left with a heavy harvest in a short amount of time.
If this is your first time growing Auto flowers, then chances are it’s not going to go perfectly. The best way to learn is to make mistakes and ensure you don’t repeat them.
We’d love to know about your experiences working with autos, so do let us know how it went in the comment section below, and of course if you enjoyed this video make sure to like and subscribe so you too can become a cannabis expert!
Speed up Cannabis Production with these simple tips!
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Grow. No Comments on Speed up Cannabis Production with these simple tips!
Imagine the Usain Bolt of cannabis plants.
While all the others are just beginning to flower, yours are already showing fat, juicy buds.
Sounds a bit like a fantasy, or does it?
In truth, there are a few things you can do for indoor growing, and outdoor growing too, that can dramatically speed things up when it comes to producing your own cannabis.
Autoflowering strains tend to flower appreciably quicker than photoperiod strains when grown under similar conditions.
You can take a photoperiod strain straight to flowering by using a 12-hour period of darkness straight from the point of germination, though yields will be smaller as a consequence.
Why not grow your plants from clones?
Not only does this mean that you can reproduce one of your highest-yielding plants, but it takes far less time to grow a plant from a cutting than it does growing plants from seeds.
A word of warning, though, don’t clone autoflowering strains as they retain the age of the host plant and will flower before the plant has had a chance to grow to any reasonable size.
Consider 24 hours of light – this can greatly reduce veg time, but watch out for deficiencies. If your plants look unhealthy, go back to 12 hours darkness for a few days to allow them to recover.
You can then jump-start the flowering process.
Put your plants in total darkness for 48 hours before beginning a 12-hour, 12-hour light and dark cycle. You can then use an 11-hour, 13-hour light and dark cycle to trick the plant into thinking that winter is arriving.
How about hydroponics?
This is often forgotten about as an option, especially if speed of production is important to you.
The advantage of hydroponics is that nutrients are delivered direct to the roots. The result is that your veg time can be reduced by a couple of weeks or so.
As for tips to help you speed up the growth of your outdoor plants – there are two main ones we would recommend.
First, cove your plants with a tarp or light-blocking cover at night for a 12-hour period. This is similar to how you operate an indoor grow tent.
This will force the plants to bloom earlier and will usually result in fatter buds.
Second, pollinate late and harvest early.
Here we recommend you pollinate your plants yourself, by hand, roughly a week before harvesting. This will stop the plants’ energy being focused on flower production.
Finally, whether growing cannabis indoors or out, choose your variety carefully as some strains have an appreciably faster time-span between sowing seeds and harvesting cannabis, already giving you a head start!
Grow Cannabis on your Windowsill!
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Grow. No Comments on Grow Cannabis on your Windowsill!
Not all of us or, in fact, quite a few of us just don’t have room for a grow tent where we live.
Maybe you share a house with friends who aren’t avid potheads, or perhaps you live in a bedsit.
Ideally you need a spare room for a grow tent if you don’t want it to become the focal point of your entire life.
So what if there just isn’t the room, what then?
Well, what’s wrong with your windowsill, as long as it doesn’t face due north?
Okay, it’s not so easy to control the growing environment, and you can’t control the hours of daylight the way you can with an independent lighting system, but that’s not a crisis.
Aside from that, the only other downside is that if your windowsill is on the first two floors of the
property, passersby, who generally tend to have a nosey nature, may spot your botanical exploits.
In order of priority, you want a south-, east-, or west-facing window. West-facing is not brilliant as the afternoon sun tends to be more dehydrating in strength.
You can increase the light with LED lights that you can buy which have a flexible stand so you can direct the light accurately. However, we recommend that you only do this with the curtains drawn as you’ll attract as much attention as a hooker does with a red light in her window!
Your next potential problem is keeping the soil sufficiently moist, but without keeping it permanently waterlogged.
If you can’t afford a connected moisture sensor, then it’s down to sticking your finger in the soil. If nothing sticks to it, then the plant needs watering.
Just make sure you get no water on the leaves as drops of water act like mini magnifying glasses and you’ll burn the leaves on a sunny day.
Choosing the right pot can also help with potential watering problems.
Obviously you don’t want a ten litre pot if you have a narrow windowsill, but anything from two litres upwards will do, bearing in mind that the smaller the pot equals the smaller the plant.
Then comes the soil, and with limited space, nutrient-rich soil is essential. The soil should be rich and dark, but still airy, not claggy and clay-like.
Make sure that as well as abundant micronutrients, you have plenty of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorous in the soil.
Finally, you have the choice of plant, and some strains will give you far better yields than others in the less-than-perfect growing environment.
Try varieties such as Auto White Widow, which in a windowsill, will grow up to about 60cm in height. After all, you don’t want plants blocking out all the light from entering the room!
There’s also Formula one auto and quick one, whose names are pretty self-explanatory.
Of course there is one great advantage of growing your cannabis plants on a windowsill, and that providing the window opens, you have plenty of ventilation to avoid the tell-tale smell of terpenes as the plant matures!
Have you grown plants on your windowsill before? Let us know how it went in the comment section below, and of course if you enjoyed this video make sure to like and subscribe so you too can become a cannabis expert!
Growing Cannabis in a Greenhouse: The Perfect Solution!
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Grow. No Comments on Growing Cannabis in a Greenhouse: The Perfect Solution!
For one reason or another, growing cannabis plant indoors isn’t feasible.
This can be due to the presence of a flatmate who’s in the police force or you still live with your not-so-broad-minded parents.
Finding a plot of land that is private and secluded can also be a problem, so what’s the solution?
What about a greenhouse – ideally one with opaque polycarbonate panels or whitewashed glass to keep out prying eyes?
Of course, people might be curious to know what’s behind the opaque glass, so it might pay to leave a small area with clear glass and crowd that area with tomato plants to hide what’s lurking behind them.
Greenhouses are great and it is surprising how many people don’t consider using one even when they have a free choice where to grow their plants.
For a start, easily regulated temperatures help to create stronger, healthier plants that yield much more than outdoor plants. You can easily heat a greenhouse during a cold spell.
The walls of your greenhouse are great for creating a humid environment, while there is always plenty of natural daylight, so you can grow the year round.
Polycarbonate greenhouses aren’t expensive, and hand watering saves on expensive watering set-ups.
So, what are the best plants to grow? That’s easy.
Go for autoflowering seeds as they will produce a full crop irrespective of the hours of daylight – Feminised Seeds are also a great choice, but bear in mind these plants require a regular 12 hours of daylight a day.
As for germinating your seeds and establishing your seedlings, this is still best done indoors and then gradually introduce the seedlings to the cooler outdoor environment. Spring’s a great time to do this.
Move the seedlings into the greenhouse for a couple of hours a day, then increase that period over time until you can plant them out.
Employ simple tricks like temperature-controlled skylights and a solar-powered fan to increase airflow and reduce chances of mould.
Blocking out light is easy with black film to force-flower your plants too.
Finally, you also have the option of a ‘sea of green’ where you grow lots of plants that have lower yields, or just a few plants that have maximum yields.
Greenhouses are great for taking your growing away from the home, but still getting great yields.
How to take Cannabis Cuttings – Part 1
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Seeds. No Comments on How to take Cannabis Cuttings – Part 1
When there is a wealth of information out there about growing cannabis plants from seeds, it might seem a little strange to be talking about taking cuttings.
So, why would you take cuttings from a cannabis plant?
Well, To grow more plants of the same quality as the “mother”.
Growing cannabis plants from seed can produce varying results, whereas taking cuttings and using them to grow new plants takes all the risk and guesswork out of the equation.
The process of taking cuttings from one plant to create new plants is called cloning, which is a word you may already be familiar with.
First, you need to choose a female plant that is hardy, growing rapidly, with great yields, large roots, and strong buds.
Sativa plants are better than Indica plants and best for taking cuttings from.
You can use an indoor or outdoor plant, but to get the best results, grow the cuttings in the same environment as the mother.
You should then take your cuttings when the mother plant is in a vegetative state as opposed to when it is flowering, as the cuttings will take root more successfully.
Choose a branch from lower down on the mother plant, and with a very sharp knife, or secateurs, and make sure to clip it at an angle as this will help it absorb water and root more easily.
If you cut the branch with a blunt blade, you will crush as opposed to cut the fibres, which will stop the branch from taking root.
Each branch should be between six and eight inches long and should have at least one pair of leaves left on it, allowing two new branches to sprout from it.
Perhaps you’ve got any tips for taking cuttings, please share them with us in the comments section below.
In the meantime, keep a look out for our follow-on video on how to successfully root your cuttings.

How to Grow your Cannabis PURPLE!
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Grow. No Comments on How to Grow your Cannabis PURPLE!
Did you know that many roses that have extremely vibrant colours aren’t naturally that colour? No. They put dye in the water and the petals, that would originally have been white, or red, absorb the dye in the water.
However, you don’t have to use purple dye in the water for your cannabis plants as you can actually buy plants that produce purple cannabis – more on that later
But first lets explode a few more myths.
Depriving your plants of oxygen, or any other gases for that matter, won’t turn them purple, but will be more likely to kill them.
Feeding your plant excess nitrogen won’t make them turn purple either, though it will likely change their colour to brown as they die and wither after getting burnt to a crisp.
You could try purple dye, but we don’t recommend it. If you do go down that route for fun, get a natural food colouring, not a chemical dye, as you are going to be igniting and inhaling the dye at the end of the day.
As for which parts of your plant will turn purple, this can be the pistils, the calyxes, the leaves and the trichomes.
Having chosen the right plants, there are still a few things you need to keep an eye on.
First, once they have ended vegetative growth and are ready to start flowering, drop the night-time temperature by 10-15 degrees compared to the daytime temperature.
This will help break down the chlorophyll and encourage the production of more anthocyanins.
When it comes to naturally purple plants, keep an eye out for Purplematic CBD ,Purple Queen, purple punch, granddaddy purple etc – the names should give you a clue.
Purplematic is high in cannabidiol and very low in THC, with deep, rich purple buds.
Purple Queen is virtually a pure Indica and a combination of Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani genetics. Flowers after roughly 10 weeks and has a high 22% THC content.
Blue Mystic is a cross between Oregon Blueberry and Northern light, resulting in an 18% THC level and rich, purple buds.
I wonder how Purple Ronnie got his name…
Lets us know about your experiences with purple cannabis in the comment section below.

How to Germinate Cannabis Seeds – Episode 1: The Best Way to Sprout Autoflowers
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Seeds. No Comments on How to Germinate Cannabis Seeds – Episode 1: The Best Way to Sprout Autoflowers
SOAKING OVERNIGHT IN A GLASS OF WATER
After many years of experimenting and looking for the best way to germinate our Fast Buds seeds, we must say that this is definitely one of the most effective ways.
This method is especially effective for seeds with a harder shell or older seeds. You’ll need:
Glass cup
Water
STEP 1
As the title says, grab a glass cup and fill it half with water.
STEP 2
Place the seeds in the glass and leave it in a dark place, let the seeds soak for up to 32 hours.
STEP 3
Most viable seeds will sink after a couple of hours and you should see the radicle after a couple of days. Remember that some seeds may need longer until you see the radicle coming out. If they haven’t sprouted after 72 hours, add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to kill accumulated bacteria in the water and return to the darkness for 2 more days.

Is it Legal to Ship Cannabis Seeds in the United States?
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Seeds. No Comments on Is it Legal to Ship Cannabis Seeds in the United States?
Both the United States Post Office and Customs agree that shipping cannabis seeds from state to state and into the country is 100% legal.
However, In the United States, the legal status of possessing cannabis seeds varies from state to state. While some states have fully legalized cannabis for both medical and recreational use, others maintain strict prohibitions.
The 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized industrial hemp, classifies hemp as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC content. Since hemp is federally legal, cannabis seeds fall into that classification and is excluded from the Controlled Substance Act.
It is important to exercise caution, as interpretations of federal and state laws can vary. Some states explicitly criminalize the sale and possession of cannabis seeds, even if they do not contain THC.
The legal landscape surrounding cannabis is always changing but my site will always try to stay up to date on it. Some states that previously had strict regulations against cannabis may have changed their laws or regulations since my last update. Additionally, other states may have specific regulations or restrictions on cannabis seeds that are not explicitly mentioned here.
As of my knowledge from research done on August 11th, 2023, The following states are illegal:
Idaho: Idaho has maintained a very strict stance against cannabis. “A producer license authorizes a person or entity to obtain and possess hemp seed for planting; to cultivate and harvest hemp; to transport their own hemp crop; to dispose of or remediate their own hemp; as well as possess and market plant parts.

Kentucky Prohibits Cannabis Seeds, Hemp too: https://www.kyagr.com/marketing/hemp-law.html
Even though the 2018 Farm Bill removes hemp from the controlled substance list, no person can grow, handle (possess), or process hemp plants, viable seed, leaf or floral materials without a hemp license issued by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.

Germination Fail? Cannabis Seed Viability Testing – No Green or White Zone
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Seeds. No Comments on Germination Fail? Cannabis Seed Viability Testing – No Green or White Zone
A visual examination is the first step in determining the potential viability of a cannabis seed. Look for seeds that have a dark, healthy coloration, as pale or light-colored seeds may indicate immaturity or poor health. Viable seeds often exhibit a mottled appearance, with a sturdy outer shell that is smooth, shiny and intact.
Size and Shape:
Another important characteristic to assess is the size and shape of the seed. Larger seeds generally have a higher chance of viability compared to smaller ones. Additionally, viable cannabis seeds are usually teardrop-shaped or slightly oval, indicating healthy development.
Hardness Test:
The next step involves performing a hardness test to evaluate the seed’s integrity. Gently squeeze the seed between your fingers. If it feels firm and does not crack or crumble under pressure, it is likely viable. Conversely, a soft or brittle seed may indicate poor viability or age.
Float Test:
The float test is a simple yet effective method to determine if a cannabis seed can germinate. Fill a glass with water and carefully drop the seed into it. Viable seeds will sink to the bottom, while non-viable ones will float or remain suspended in the water. Floating seeds are typically empty or have not developed enough to be viable.

How to make cannabis and weed seeds is all about timing and understanding the life cycle.
The secret is that you do not need any males to produce seeds and by reversing a female with ethylene inhibitors such as colloidal silver and STS. Without a male, you will produce all female offspring also known as feminized seeds and this breeding process can be used for both photoperiods and autoflowers(autos).
This video will teach you how to produce feminized photoperiods, feminized autoflowers, regular photoperiods, regular autoflowers. It also teaches you how to make selfie seeds which is the closest thing to a clone in seed form. This is done by taking a plant and pollinating itself. All of the visible traits (phenotypes) will be passed on to the next generation unless a hidden heterozygous gene pairs and overrides some genetics.

10 MYTHS about CANNABIS That simply AREN’T TRUE!
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Facts. No Comments on 10 MYTHS about CANNABIS That simply AREN’T TRUE!
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBnvmu9cLVwbhRHALNDh_og
10 false myths surrounding cannabis!
There are a lot of myths, both urban and otherwise, surrounding cannabis, and not all of them paint a rosy picture.
This is a shame, as this is not the 1950s and, frankly, so many of these myths are just a rehash, pun intended, of myths that go back years, comments made about cannabis that weren’t true then and which still aren’t true today.
Before commencing this list we’d like to mention our second channel – History HQ- if you enjoy our content and have an interest in history, make sure to check that out. We’ll leave a link in the description below!
The first myth is that cannabis use leads to an increase in crime. Our response to this is a word associated with what comes out of a bull’s backside.
If you want to criminalise cannabis use and then use cannabis statistics to say crime has increased, you might as well criminalise milk and then say milk use leads to an increase in crime.
There is no evidence correlating cannabis use with an increase in crime, though we will not deny that many criminals use cannabis.
However, there is a big difference between causation and correlation.
By the way, what are the figures relating to alcohol use and crime?
Funny how that doesn’t seem like such a hot topic.
Second, cannabis is a gateway drug.
Here we refer you to two oval objects that hang down between a bull’s hind legs to convey our sentiments.
There is zero evidence that smoking cannabis directly leads to taking heroin or crack cocaine, but more a case that cannabis is often the first drug encountered by those with a propensity to drug abuse.
Third, cannabis is an addictive drug.
It’s not, but even if it was, why is nicotine legal, when that is even more addictive, and nobody’s going to say that smoking’s good for you!
The chemicals in cannabis bear no resemblance to those in nicotine, cocaine or heroin that trigger devastating addiction invariably through the onset of chronic withdrawal symptoms.
Fourth, cannabis isn’t addictive at all.
We are all for the truth and not creating a list of myths that conveniently omit negative aspects of cannabis.
While it is not chronically addictive and generally doesn’t trigger horrendous withdrawal symptoms, it has been shown that for some, cannabis is addictive, though one is left questioning if the addiction is psychological or physiological in nature.
By that, we mean, is it the mind or the body that develops an addiction.
Fifth, you can overdose on cannabis.
Now where’s that bull?
Unlike heroin and cocaine, there are no recorded incidents of someone overdosing and dying as a direct result of smoking cannabis, end of story!
Sixth, cannabis smokers are a bunch of lazy layabouts.
Hmmm. We are not a great fan of stereotypes, especially when they are wrong.
Sure, some people just want to curl up and go to sleep after a good smoke, but they probably do the same after a good drink.
Plenty of people use cannabis to help them fully relax, after which they feel refreshed and full of energy.
Certain strains of cannabis have been shown to increase creativity – it’s more a case of horses for courses.
Seventh, Sativa and Indica strains produce very different types of cannabis.
Curiously, it was growers who, accidentally, gave life to this myth.
In truth, two identical plants grown under different conditions can produce two batches of cannabis which have different effects.
So, more accurately, it isn’t the strain that matters, and in a bid to move away from this dichotomy, growers are now beginning to refer to chemovars, meaning chemical variety, which is what really influences the cannabis produced.
Eighth, we have the supposed fact that there isn’t such a thing as a cannabis hangover.
If you smoke heavily at night, chances are you’ll wake up with bloodshot eyes and brain fog.
If there is a difference, it would seem that the amount of alcohol you have to consume to get roughly the same effect as a cannabis high is likely to leave you with a hangover, while to get high smoking cannabis, but then stopping, will more likely see you wake up feeling bright-eyed and bushy tailed.
Nine, you don’t get withdrawal symptoms after regular cannabis use.
Actually, you do, only the symptoms tend to be relatively mild and are not of a severity where you crave a hit to get rid of the symptoms.
Think ‘uncomfortable and restless’ as opposed to ‘distressed and going out of your mind’.
Lastly, the longer you hold your breath when taking a hit, the bigger the high.
Bunkum, balderdash and twaddle, to use three rarely used expostulations these days.
You want a great high, smoke a lot of cannabis -THC enters your lungs almost immediately the moment you inhale, and after that, there’s none left to be absorbed.
Make sure to like and subscribe, so you too can become a cannabis expert!

How to Germinate Cannabis Seeds Directly in Soil – Weed, Pot & Marijuana Plant and Sprouting
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Seeds. No Comments on How to Germinate Cannabis Seeds Directly in Soil – Weed, Pot & Marijuana Plant and Sprouting
Germinating cannabis seeds is fairly easy as long as you understand the main principles for sprouting. Weed seeds contain all the nutrients they need inside their cotyledons, so you do not need to feed them anything besides water for the first two week. They can even sprout in completely inert mediums such as coco coir or rockwool but for the purpose of this tutorial, we are going to show you the best way to plant your marijuana seeds directly in soil.
Promix HP:https://amzn.to/3HWAWGZ
The 7 main factors are:
Sterility – Soil can have microbes, both good or bad and a lot of prepackaged potting soil is not intended for sproutlings. It is important to have clean soil so if you feel like the soil is dirty (you can usually smell it and know), treating a cup of it with hydrogen peroxide infused water (2ml per cup) will help sterilize the dirt.
Hydrogen Peroxide: Get it at the dollar store, but if you cant, https://amzn.to/3g82VI6
Moisture – The ideal moisture level is a ratio of five parts in volume of soil to one part water. for instance 500ml of soil in volume to 100ml of water.
pH – or power of Hydrogen. This will tell you how acidic of basic the soil is and sproutling need a slightly acidic pH for the best nutrient uptake. It is best to perform a slurry test to measure the pH and modify it using pH up or down to bring it around a 5.8 pH.
TDS/EC/pH Meter: https://amzn.to/3hfOuCc
ph Up & Down: https://amzn.to/3uBgKlU
Heat – The best temperature for germination is 85 degrees, you can use a seedling heat mat.
Seedling Heat Mat: https://amzn.to/3jkg3Lu
Humidity – As with moisture of the soil, containing the humidity at high levels also greatly improves the probability of successful germination. A humidity dome can be as simple as an upside down bottle, or a complete seed starting kit.
Seed Starter Tray: https://amzn.to/3AeU4LI
Continuous Spray Mist Bottle: https://amzn.to/3X4NAbO
Optional Seed Mat Station: https://amzn.to/3tsyBLi
Lighting – You want 18-24 hour of low lighting and the best ppfd level is around 150-200 ppfd for sproutlings. To measure this, you can watch this tutorial https://youtu.be/iAAUFd6gW6o and download the app photone: https://bit.ly/3JLfOkg

10 things I Wish I’d known before Growing Cannabis!
Written by thcscout on . Posted in Grow. No Comments on 10 things I Wish I’d known before Growing Cannabis!
How many cannabis growers have you spoken to who will admit that they only discovered some extremely useful facts once they had already started growing cannabis?
In truth, it is not really anyone’s fault. Often it is just a case that we all have a habit of making assumptions about things we don’t really know enough about.
As an example, contrary to what you may have assumed, growing cannabis outdoors isn’t difficult. The only reason most people don’t is because they don’t want to get caught growing cannabis!
If you choose the right plant, growing outdoors can actually end up being a lot cheaper.
Next, keep a grow diary.
Record everything you do for two reasons.
If it all goes well, then you have something really useful to refer back to for your next grow, and if something goes wrong, you have a list of what you have done, which will help identify any mistakes you have made.
Don’t assume that because you managed to successfully grow some cannabis the first time you try, you’ve got it all sussed. Lady luck can be your best friend at times, but she won’t always be there to protect you.
Be prepared to always listen and learn from others.
If you buy some cannabis and find a ‘bonus’ seed in the pack, don’t assume you can grow a plant from it that will give you a free harvest.
Chances are the seed will be a ‘hermie’, a hermaphrodite with male and female parts, and you’ll end up with a small yield.
Always buy your seeds from a reputable supplier.
Check your pH levels every day. If the pH level of the soil is wrong your plant or plants won’t feed, and we know what will happen when that occurs…
Read up about vapour pressure deficit or VPD.
VPD involves getting the perfect balance between humidity and temperature and is key to the best results.
Morning is the best time to feed your plants.
They prefer to take in oxygen through their roots at night-time, and soggy fertilised soil will stop that from happening.
Next, be attentive.
Cannabis plants aren’t the same as houseplants – they can’t be left to their own devices for days at a time.
Cannabis plants can be remarkably sensitive and you can kill them within 48 hours if you don’t act smart.
Think about investing in a drip feeder. This means that the plant gets a regular supply of food without drenching the soil, but it also takes pressure off you to always be there to feed it, or them.
Finally, use microbes.
They will help break down the soil and enable your plant to take up more nutrients, not just the ones supplied in fertiliser.
Microbes tend to result in juicier buds and healthier plants all round.
Of course that’s just ten things – there are bound to be other things you wished you had known, but this vid will at least have ticked a lot of them off your list!

From my experience, I can say that growing marijuana is a simple process if one has good-quality cannabis seeds.
The marijuana plant type depends on the seeds that can be feminized weed seeds, auto-flowering cannabis seeds, or regular pot seeds.
