What are the best cannabis seeds banks?

There’s plenty of ways to grow dank, but too often people forget what is essential and what is superfluous. I am determined to show how well these plants can do with barely any inputs. Even with the smallest budget you can afford to grow your own.

I am not sponsored by anyone as you can tell by my 0 views. These are my opinions for the best beans and seed banks.

Germination Fail? Cannabis Seed Viability Testing – No Green or White Zone

Cultivating cannabis plants from seeds is an exciting journey for many enthusiasts. However, not all cannabis seeds are created equal and determining their viability is crucial for a successful growing experience. Failing at germination might not entirely be your fault and in this video, we demonstrate what types of seeds are viable and what types are not.
A visual examination is the first step in determining the potential viability of a cannabis seed. Look for seeds that have a dark, healthy coloration, as pale or light-colored seeds may indicate immaturity or poor health. Viable seeds often exhibit a mottled appearance, with a sturdy outer shell that is smooth, shiny and intact.

Size and Shape:
Another important characteristic to assess is the size and shape of the seed. Larger seeds generally have a higher chance of viability compared to smaller ones. Additionally, viable cannabis seeds are usually teardrop-shaped or slightly oval, indicating healthy development.

Hardness Test:
The next step involves performing a hardness test to evaluate the seed’s integrity. Gently squeeze the seed between your fingers. If it feels firm and does not crack or crumble under pressure, it is likely viable. Conversely, a soft or brittle seed may indicate poor viability or age.

Float Test:
The float test is a simple yet effective method to determine if a cannabis seed can germinate. Fill a glass with water and carefully drop the seed into it. Viable seeds will sink to the bottom, while non-viable ones will float or remain suspended in the water. Floating seeds are typically empty or have not developed enough to be viable.

How to Germinate Cannabis Seeds Directly in Soil – Weed, Pot & Marijuana Plant and Sprouting

#germination #sproutling #howtogrowweed
Germinating cannabis seeds is fairly easy as long as you understand the main principles for sprouting. Weed seeds contain all the nutrients they need inside their cotyledons, so you do not need to feed them anything besides water for the first two week. They can even sprout in completely inert mediums such as coco coir or rockwool but for the purpose of this tutorial, we are going to show you the best way to plant your marijuana seeds directly in soil.

The 7 main factors are:

Sterility – Soil can have microbes, both good or bad and a lot of prepackaged potting soil is not intended for sproutlings. It is important to have clean soil so if you feel like the soil is dirty (you can usually smell it and know), treating a cup of it with hydrogen peroxide infused water (2ml per cup) will help sterilize the dirt.

Hydrogen Peroxide: Get it at the dollar store, but if you cant, https://amzn.to/3g82VI6

Moisture – The ideal moisture level is a ratio of five parts in volume of soil to one part water. for instance 500ml of soil in volume to 100ml of water.

pH – or power of Hydrogen. This will tell you how acidic of basic the soil is and sproutling need a slightly acidic pH for the best nutrient uptake. It is best to perform a slurry test to measure the pH and modify it using pH up or down to bring it around a 5.8 pH.

ph Up & Down: https://amzn.to/3uBgKlU

Heat – The best temperature for germination is 85 degrees, you can use a seedling heat mat.

Seedling Heat Mat: https://amzn.to/3jkg3Lu

Humidity – As with moisture of the soil, containing the humidity at high levels also greatly improves the probability of successful germination. A humidity dome can be as simple as an upside down bottle, or a complete seed starting kit.

Continuous Spray Mist Bottle: https://amzn.to/3X4NAbO
Optional Seed Mat Station: https://amzn.to/3tsyBLi

Lighting – You want 18-24 hour of low lighting and the best ppfd level is around 150-200 ppfd for sproutlings. To measure this, you can watch this tutorial https://youtu.be/iAAUFd6gW6o and download the app photone: https://bit.ly/3JLfOkg

Cannabis Seeds & Germination 101 // How To Grow

Hey buds and welcome to my video on cannabis seeds and germination! Germination is the first step to any cannabis grow, and there are tons of ways to get this done. In this video I will cover a how to germinate and plant your seeds in two different ways, direct to soil and paper towel method. I also cover seed storage as well as the basics of breeding. Some growers will claim to have methods with 100% germination rates, but this depends on the seeds, the methods I cover will give you the best chance of 100% germination rates.

0:36 – Direct to Soil – This section covers how to germinate and plant your cannabis seeds directly into the soil, no transplants or paper towels needed. This method is not known to have the best success rate, but is by far the easiest way to germinate your weed seeds. With this method you will need water, a seed, soil (seed starter etc) and mycorrhizae. This method is perfect for autoflowers and photoperiod plants.

2:34 – Paper Towel Method – This section covers how to germinate and plant your marijuana seeds via the paper towel method. This method is commonly known to have the highest success rate among all levels of growers. With this method you will need a cup, water, plate, paper towel, seed, soil (seed starter etc) and mycorrhizae. This method is suggested for photoperiod plants, autoflowers may experience a slight shock during initial transplant.

5:46 – How to Store your Seeds – This section will cover how to properly store your cannabis seeds. Simply use a box such as a cigar box (or similar design), put your seeds inside and store it in a dark place. I also discuss about storing your pot seeds in the fridge.

7:28 – Where Do Seeds Come From? – Also known as introduction to breeding. I briefly discuss the differences between regular, feminized, autoflower and photoperiod plant, and how a male and female plant are used to create regular seeds. Two females are used to create feminized seeds, although that’ll have to be another episode.

SIDE NOTES:

Boiling, Hydrogen Peroxide, Sandpaper: I researched these methods but founds them over the top and unnecessary. With that being said, the video should cover all the steps on how to germinate your seeds, and if you have any questions please drop them below in the comment section!

Mycorrhizae: Some growers start applying mycorrhizae after the plant has been transplant from a 3.5″ square pot or larger. Personally speaking I try to expose my cannabis seedlings to mycorrhizae as quickly as possible to inoculate the root zone.

I hope everyone enjoyed, keep growing and keep learning!

PH GERMINATION EXPERIMENT! – GERMINATING CANNABIS SEEDS – WILL IT GERMINATE?

I’ve always germinated my cannabis seeds in RO water with a pH of 7.0 and never knew what other pH levels would work for germination. Therefore, I decided to do this pH germination experiment. I also tried germinating seeds in pH Up and pH Down solutions. If you want to see more cannabis grow experiments like this, click the thumbs up button! 🙂
