YES! YOU! CAN! Apply the Nursing Process (ADPIE) to Teen Substance Abuse!

Generated by faceless.video

Teen substance abuse is a growing public health concern that requires a comprehensive and evidence-based approach. This video explores the application of the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to address substance use among adolescents in the community.

Learn how community health nurses assess a severe community issue, diagnose the circumstance with a nursing diagnosis, plan to intervene, implement an intervention, and evaluate the success of their program.

Apply the nursing process case study and develop interventions to support teens, families, and communities in preventing and managing substance use disorders. Whether you are preparing for your nurse licensure or certification exam, or seeking a deeper understanding of community-based nursing care, this video provides valuable insights into evidence-based strategies that empower nurses to make a meaningful impact.

In this episode, we have with us another all-star of The Ranveer Show – Dr. Siddharth Warrier. After talking to this man for one hour, I truly felt like I had explored the deepest parts of my brain. One of the most knowledgeable humans to appear on the show.

In this very special conversation, we discuss the world of plant medicine and drugs like never before. The perception of the world has changed in various categories. However, there are quite a few things that are misunderstood or wrongly judged. One such thing is drugs. Prescription drugs or OTC drugs are most commonly used all over. Then why do we have this closed perception of taboo topics when it comes to psychedelics and psychedelic drugs like Ayahuasca, Weed, LSD, and many others. On the show, we had a certified professional explain the neuroscience behind these substances. Dr. Siddharth Warrier is an expert neurologist, who breaks down the effects of drug usage and alcoholism. Enjoy this episode.

Dr. Siddharth Warrier also runs his own podcast and YouTube channel from the ABCs of neuroscience to the most complex phenomenons.

Which Is Worse: Marijuana or Alcohol? | Dr. Daniel Amen

One of the most common things people want to know is whether alcohol or marijuana is worse for your brain and overall health. The scientific evidence and the brain imaging work at Amen Clinics show that neither one is good for you. Alcohol is not a health food, and marijuana is not an innocuous substance. But is one of them more damaging than the other?

At first glance, it might seem that alcohol does the most damage to our brain health and general well-being because it is more widely used. Over 85% of American adults say they’ve consumed alcohol at some point in their lives, and nearly 70% say they’ve had a drink in the past year, as reported by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Compare that to just 18% of Americans who said they used marijuana in 2019, according to the CDC. Although not as widespread, the harmful effects of marijuana on the brain may be greater. Let’s take a closer look at some of the worst consequences of drinking and marijuana.

Marijuana Use and Its Impact | Fact Check

The fact that marijuana and cannabis products are increasingly legal doesn’t mean that using marijuana is without risk. For example, marijuana use is the primary reason young people enter substance use treatment. High levels of THC, which is the chemical in marijuana that most affects the brain, has been linked to a variety of mental health problems. Finally, marijuana is the drug most often found in the blood of drivers involved in car accidents.

In our latest video, recovery advocate and mother Carleah Summers provides all the details parents and family members need to know about marijuana – what it is, how it works and the negative effects that could result from using it.

“Problems with marijuana use can be prevented,” Summers says. “The longer teens delay use, the less likely they are to develop a marijuana use disorder or addiction. We can all play a part by supporting policies and programs that prevent or reduce marijuana use among teens and by not normalizing its use as a harmless way to have fun.”

Fox News Admits Marijuana is Safe!

Fox News Admits Marijuana is Safe!

Smoke it, then tax it!
Bill O’Reilly “There is now a move to legalize marijuana nationwide”

Dr. Manny Alvarez from Foxnewshealth.com talks with Chris Kilham, medicine hunter about marijuana.
Every state is trying to pass legalization and Dr. Alvarez asks, “Is there really a benefit to it?”
Confirms that compounds in cannabis act as protective agents against lung cancer cells specifically, which he says is recent science.
People with disorders like HIV, wasting disorders, are recovering from chemo, or who just cant eat, can eat edibles or smoke marijuana to increase appetite to help build weight and increase the immune system.
Glaucoma is the #2 cause of blindness, which can be reduced in with the consumption of cannabis.
Brings up 1997 World Health Organization study comparing cannabis, tobacco, and alcohol, which stated that marijuana was the safest.

Dr. Manny Alvarez is worried for his teenage kids, concerned that they smoke pot in high school.
Chris recommends that people under 20 should not smoke, due to not fully developed brains. But that he IS an advocate for legalization, though with regulation.
Sativex is a liquid form of cannabis developed by GW Pharmaceuticals in Britain, approved in UK, Italy, Spain, which means it’s going to be approved in all of the EU.

Fun Fact: The US Department of Health and Human Services has patent on the use of marijuana for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, which is suppressed to help make the government money!

The Facts About Marijuana

Incase you didn’t know,
society has brainwashed all of you
into thinking Marijuana is a drug, when it’s not.
Yes, it alters you.
No, it’s not a drug.
Loratab, Xanax, Soma’s, Aspirin, Tylenol, those are drugs,
and drugs can KILL you.
If you take more then 10 Tylenol, you are a goner.
If you take more then 5 loratab, your a dumbass
AND a goner.
Incase you havn’t noticed, Marijuana GROWS.
Nothing is DONE to it.
It simply grows, just like a tomato, and an apple.
It grows.
Have you ever heard of someone overdosing on it?
No?
I didn’t think so.
Let me, also, give you the scientific comparison
of Marijuana to other things.
Marijuana compared to a beer:
One beer is equal to 35 grams smoked of Indica, or “Chronic” or “Funk” or “Kush” whatever you want to call it. 68 Grams of Sativa, or “regs” or “reggie” or “schwagg”.
You can go research that if you want too,
because I have multiple times.
Marijuana is also not addicting at all,
it’s more than 100 times healthier than a beer.
It’s also a lot safer than smoking cigarettes.
Marijuana does nothing harmful to your body,
it’s not like a cigarette.
When you smoke it, nothing sticks to your lungs.
I used to think that Resin did,
but I researched it, and Resin,
or the residue that marijuana smoke leaves behind,
can’t stick to our lungs
because of what they are made of.
It’s not strong enough.
Tar in cigarettes, however, is.
Marijuana isn’t a drug.
If you think it is,
you have successfully been brainwashed
by the government,
congratulations.
