It’s been one year since the sale of recreational marijuana began in Ohio. Since Aug. 6, 2024, roughly $13 million has been spent on non-medical cannabis every single week.

The launch of recreational cannabis came after voters approved a citizen-initiated statute in November 2023. Issue 2 legalized home-grow and the sale of recreational marijuana.
