You can use this light for the whole stages growing and flowering like many other growers did. Just need to adjust the height according to desired of different plants. For seedings, we recommend being very careful with a 1” – 8” height. After a week or more, bright down to 4” through the rest of veg. For following stage, bring down to 1” to 4”. Adjust height according to desired coverage and how well the individual strain of plant and be receptive to what they are telling you. If the leaves are pointing hard towards the light, they love it! Give them more! If they shay away and look limp or unhappy and yet All your other environmental variables are correct, back off with the light! They will let you know very quickly how they feel, This is of course the key to horticulture in general.

We would recommend running the lights in an 18 on/66 off type of light pattern for any vegetative growth of any plant.
