Coffeeshops in Amsterdam : Beginner smoker tips

Can not go to Amsterdam without talking about coffeeshops. Some tips if you have never smoked cannabis or if you visit Amsterdam for the first time. http://bit.ly/Coffeeshop-Amsterdam (in french)

Far from being as popular among locals as they are among the strtangers, coffeeshops continue to attract an eclectic crowd, mostly men under 30. The goal varies between legally trying cannabis and derivatives and putting your head upside down with your friends.

With Vanupied.com, we wanted to take a tour in a few coffees and come back with tips for those who would like to smoke grass or hash in Amsterdam.

And it is not so simple, the legislation prohibits any advertising for coffeshops and many consider that to speak face camera, it is already to advertise.

The other difficulty is not to finish stoned before the interview begins. In the coffeeshops, you will not find many Buddhist apprentices favoring the middle way. The joints are loaded, the smokers motivated and the smoke is for everyone.

If you have never smoked and want to see what it looks like, get into a coffee with a little bit of people in it – if there is nobody it does not work as well, and order tea or fruit juice . After 10 minutes you will feel your eyelids heavier, your diction will be a little more awkward and your body relaxed, soft. Passive cannabism in all its splendor. Of course, smoking is a little more marked. And if you attend a “tasting”, it’s even more violent.

We did not smoke during the interview, but it was a bit rougher than usual.

Can Marijuana Relieve GI Disorders? | Marijuana

Watch more Marijuana Facts & Medical Marijuana videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/506385-Can-Marijuana-Relieve-GI-Disorders-Marijuana

Marijuana is used to relieve symptoms associated with gastrointestinal distress or disease, has been studied in clinical trials and has been used, found to be a useful treatment by doctors who are experimenting with it with their patients and patients themselves who happen to discover it on their own.

I remember the case of one young man in his twenties I interviewed who had ulcerative colitis. Severe, bloody, inflammatory disease caused him a lot of pain and cramping. He was going towards the route of needing surgery and he told me that once he was at a friend’s house and they said you should try smoking marijuana when he was having one of these really severe exacerbation and he said, “Are you kidding? Really? What’s this gonna do?”

And he didn’t believe it but then he described to me and I took very detailed notes of this interview and recorded it. He described how all of a sudden when he used this marijuana that he had an immediate relief of all the cramping and pain in his gut and he was able to actually sit down comfortably and going to the emergency room and since that time he continued to integrate this into his treatment to the point where his GI doctor, his gastroenterologist had written an authorization letter to allow him to use it for the treatment of his ulcerative colitis. It’s a fantastic thing for a patient like that at a young age who finds a relief from a plant medicine because they’re not, maybe
they will not have to go on to develop a need for surgery or develop all the other problems that come with really worsening ulcerative colitis.

The same thing people report with Crohn’s disease which is kind of another type of inflammatory GI disorder but potentially less severe, in some cases more severe depending on how bad you have it. But basically there was a study out of Israel where they looked at a lot of patients who were using cannabis for crone’s relief and they found a whole range of quality of life indicators got better in those patients. Why is this all working? Because it turns out the GI track is full of cannabinoid receptors which are those chemical locks, the keys that are made in cannabis kind of lock into. And the GI system is full of it’s own nervous system and it’s full of its own lymph tissue, it’s own immune tissue. And in these inflammatory disorders both of those are out of whack or disregulated, and using cannabis, cannabinoids, which are basically a homeostatic system, can help to reduce the inflammation and potentially relieve the pain and cramping that you get through the interaction with the gut’s nervous system.

So it’s a very interesting application and there are studies that are showing it’s a lot of promise and I’m sure if you do a Google search, you’ll find a lot of reports of this and who knows, in the future we might be able to potentially reduce the progression of GI disorders like Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis if we’re integrating cannabis and cannabis-based medicines.

How Do You Create Auto-Flowering CANNABIS Seeds

Ever wondered how you create an autoflowering cannabis plant?

It is not as difficult as you might think….

You simply cross-breed a female non-autoflowering cannabis plant from an indica or sativa strain with a male plant from the Cannabis ruderalis strain, an autoflowering variety.

First, the female and male plants are selected for cross breeding.

Once the male plant begins to develop pollen sacs, its kept isolated from the female and other plants.

When the pollen sacs open on the male plant, a small, plastic ziplock bag is placed over the sacs and shaken until the pollen is in the bag. This is repeated with all pollen sacs before the bag is sealed.

Two weeks after the female plant develops white pistils, it will be ready for pollinating.

Place the ziplock pollen bag over the female pistils’ stem and shake, gently sealing the bag around the stem and pistils.

The bag is then Shaken again two hours later, rotating it around the stem, before removing the bag.
Seeds will burst from the plant a few weeks after they begin to form, and voila!

You now have the seeds for an auto flowering strain of cannabis plant.

Medical marijuana and children don't mix, most Americans say

Dr. Matthew M. Davis, director of the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health, talks about the first poll measuring the public’s views about the use of medical marijuana for children compared to adults. While nearly two-thirds of people agree that their state should allow medical marijuana for adults, half as many – just over a third – say it should be allowed for children. Eighty percent of respondents go even further, saying adults shouldn’t be allowed to use medical marijuana in front of kids

Growing Cannabis seeds is one of the best ways to get legit genetics into the garden. The success rate can vary, but if you use proper techniques the results should be close to 100% as long as the seeds are quality.

Planting Cannabis seeds takes some TLC since they haven’t grown to develop the strength that would protect it from the environment. Again, proper technique is a must.

After planting, feeding Cannabis seedlings is a must if you aren’t using an amended medium. Light strength is always the best option when using bottled nutrients early on.

Louisiana launches medical marijuana

(6 Aug 2019) A Marine veteran struggling with PTSD and a woman fighting cancer became some of the first people to purchase medical marijuana in Louisiana on Tuesday, as the state became the first in the Deep South to dispense therapeutic cannabis, four years after state lawmakers agreed to give patients access to it.
Nine pharmacies are licensed to dispense medical marijuana across Louisiana, and most are expected to open this week.
Louisiana joins more than 30 other states that allow medical marijuana in some form.
And though marijuana is banned at the federal level, a congressional amendment blocks the Justice Department from interfering with states’ medical marijuana programs.
A 41-year-old combat veteran from Belle Chasse, Louisiana, made his purchase at Capitol Wellness Solutions on Tuesday. He said he’d tried medical marijuana in California, and it changed his life, but he was happy to be able to purchase it in his home state.
“It has become a reality to my family this morning, waking up and knowing that I would be able to go home and for the first time in my long struggle, I’ll be able to do this legally in front of my family,” Gary Hess told reporters before making his purchase. “That’s incredible.”
GB Sciences, one of two state-sanctioned growers, began shipping medical marijuana to Louisiana’s registered dispensaries Tuesday morning, after state regulators recently completed final tests and cleared it for release.
Hundreds of patients in Louisiana have been awaiting the start of the program after years of work by lawmakers, who created the regulatory framework in 2015 for dispensing the cannabis. There also have been regulatory disputes and other hurdles.
Only the Louisiana State University and Southern University agricultural centers are authorized to grow medicinal-grade pot.
