Thailand is poised to legalize medical marijuana by the end of 2018, but when we were filming our original docu-series exploring the Thai legalization movement, in early 2017, it was still very much illegal.
For that reason, finding someone who would allow us to film their grow in Bangkok wasn’t so easy, but we found our man, “Johnny”, for “HIGHLAND: Thailand’s Mariana Awakening”, which is now streaming exclusively on Netflix.
