On The Week in Weed we have reported on the DEA in Utah working hard to keep medical marijuana off the ballot there, and it looks like the Oklahoma office will not be outdone in attempting to thwart the will of the people. With super scary State Question 788 that would legalize amounts of medical marijuana and make possession without a medical card of up to 1 1/2 ounces a misdemeanor with a $400 fine. The humanity!

“TULSA, Oklahoma – On June 26, 2018, Oklahomans will vote whether to legalize medical marijuana. The head of Oklahoma’s Drug Enforcement Administration office said he wants people to separate the facts from the myths, so he speaks to church groups and organizations about State Question 788.

State Question 788 “Medical Marijuana” Vote is June 26, 2018 (primary election)

“SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 420 of Title 63, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. A person in possession of a state issued medical marijuana license shall be able to:
I . Consume marijuana legally;
2. Legally possess up to three (3) ounces or marijuana on their person;
3. Legally possess six (6) mature marijuana plants;
4. Legally possess six (6) seedling plants;
5. Legally possess one (l) ounce of concentrated marijuana;
6. Legally possess seventy-two (72) ounces of edible marijuana; and
7. Legally possess up to eight (8) ounces of’ marijuana in their residence.
B. Possession of up to one and one-half (l .5) ounces of marijuana by persons who can state a medical condition, but not in possession of a state issued medical marijuana license, shall constitute a misdemeanor offense with a fine not to exceed Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00).” More…https://www.facebook.com/LoriFullbrightNewsOn6/posts/1871433932907581
