For thousands of Oregonians, the path to a medical marijuana card starts at a clinic in Southeast Portland staffed by Dr. Thomas Orvald, an 80-year-old retired heart surgeon from Yakima. In the past year, Orvald has signed off on 4,180 cards.

Going from a veg container, to a flower container.
Veg bucket is roughly 2 1/4 gallons
Flower bucket is roughly 17 which makes for a more stable root zone when flowering big healthy cannabis plants.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on prepping my seeds this past week for this summer’s marijuana grow. I thought this could be helpful for any first time growers out there, because I know a lot of people have been more interested in cannabis cultivation as it continues to become legal in more states. This is just how I prep my seeds to be planted. There are many other ways, but I just wanted to share my own methods with you all. Let me know if you have any more questions, or if you have any grow tips for me, as this is only my second time around, and I’ll be learning a lot as I go.

Here is a simple video on how I like to germinate my cannabis seeds. There are many ways to do this, I thought I would share my methodology with you all. Also GrowerMD made a video today as well showing how he germinates seeds. It too is a great way to “pop your beans” Please also watch his video to learn other ways to this also.
Regarding “green” on top of large rockwoool; that is caused by touching the rockwool. It doesn’t seem to affect the plant but it’s a good idea to limit the amount of handling of the rockwool cubes.
