Although the United States has categorized cannabis in schedule I alongside other drugs like heroin with “no accepted medical use,” cannabis is indeed useful in treating a variety of conditions. With the ability to relieve pain, boost appetite, improve sleep, alleviate anxiety or depression, and quell seizures, cannabis can be a treatment for epilepsy, AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, and several other health conditions.
Preserving your bud can be tricky — on the one hand, you don’t want it to dry out and lose its potency, and on the other, if there’s too much moisture in the atmosphere, mold or mildew might develop. That said, when stored properly, cannabis can last up to three years. And remember, to further preserve your bud, don’t grind it before you put it away.
The good news is you can’t lethally overdose on cannabis, but you can certainly overdo it.
