A new medical cannabis vape lounge has opened in a Co Down town with the aim of helping others and creating a wellbeing space for the whole community.
Cannabase NI has been opened by Jocelyn Stewart at The Mall, Banbridge, in order to create a safe and welcoming space for prescription cannabis users in Northern Ireland and other members of the public as she aims to promote good mental health practices and healthy living.
The 30-year-old mother of three is currently a user of medical cannabis and credits it with giving her a new lease in life after years of being prescribed opioid medications, which she says destroyed her quality of life and mental health.
The AFC Urgent Care in Pinellas Park is buzzing, now with two physicians who can legally prescribe medical marijuana. They’re the first AFC clinic in the country to get on board, and they say, you may not know other doctors offices can charge you to get qualified for a medical marijuana script.

Authorities seized more than 400 pounds of illegal marijuana during a raid in a Northern California grow house. The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office discovered more than 1,400 marijuana plants in the West Point grow house, about 70 miles southeast of Sacramento, on Thursday, according to a statement.
