Mother nature is modest and wants to be covered so if you don’t cover her she will do it herself, ie WEEDS. Which we don’t want in our garden. To keep them out you can put down 5-6 inches of mulch and continue to add mulch all season to surpress the weeds or you can grow in landscape mesh. Landscape mesh is a permable material that lets the water drain into the soil but blocks the sun so the weeds wont grow. It is reusable and will last for many seasons.

Why should you care? You don’t have to spend hours and hours each day weeding your garden!

To use you cover your growing space (we use it on our raised beds) with landscape mesh and use a torch to burn holes where you want to plant. You plant your seedlings or your seeds in the hole. Water like normal and in a few days/weeks your plants will be thriving and you don’t we weeding!!

Pretty simple right?
