I’m going to teach you how to use the fox farm trio of nutrients from start to finish. This is knowledge Im giving based on an actual harvest using these nutrients and you’re looking at plants I grew using the set.

So basically, you won’t need to feed your sproutlings any nutrients in the first two weeks of their life. The seeds have all the nutrients a young plant needs so don’t worry about adding anything to your water besides ph Down.

Personally, I bring my ph for young plants to about 5.9 to 6.0 which you can do with lemon water, ph down and a pH meter. Videos for how to do so can be seen on my channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u1qgr2MpJc

Once you transfer your plants to soil (about two weeks in), the first thing you need to consider is the nutrients that’s already in your soil. I am using a 2 to 1 blend of froggy soil to ocean forest and because ocean forest has a good amount of nutrients in it, I wont add any nutrients until my fifth feeding in soil.

By then they are in their forever pots and with any nutrients, you want to gradually introduce them because doing too much may put the plants in shock and may stress out your plant. For the first two feedings in soil, I feed just normal pH balanced water at low 6’s. Then on my 3rd feeding, I will add a quarter of the recommended dosage of grow big. By this time, your plant should be about 10 inches tall. As I go through the veg phase, I am gradually increasing the amount of grow big from a quarter of the recommended dosage to half (about 3 feedings) and when my plants reach about 18 inches tall, I will introduce big bloom, also at a quarter of the recommended dosage. For the rest of the vegetative phase, I am gradually increasing big bloom up until I am at a half of the recommended dosage(about 2 feedings in) and from then on, it will be a constant half dose of big bloom and grow big. Then when I drop the light cycle down from 18 hours of light to 12 hours of light, the bloom stage begins and for the first two feedings, I still feed half the recommended big bloom and half the grow big dosage. On the 3rd feeding in bloom, I will introduce tiger bloom at a quarter dosage, but I am dropping grow big back down to a quarter dosage and leaving big bloom at a half. On the fourth feeding in bloom, I am completely eliminating grow big, and feeding big bloom and tiger bloom at half the recommended dosage for the rest of the plants lives.
One thing to note is that if you start seeing leaves yellowing or curling, skip nutrients on the next feeding and just use plain ph balanced water. Chances are you are putting in too many nutrients, but if you are not sure, feel free to shoot me a message or comment and Ill let you know my opinion.
