People asked for it, so here ya go.

This is how we germinate our landrace cannabis seeds. I use the ziplock bag/paper towel technique with a heat mat set to 90F.

Because many of our seeds are tropical, and require a warm environment for the seeds to germinate, I have had the best success using the ziplock bag/paper towel technique on a heat mat (absolutely need to use a thermostat with your heat mat!!!). Planting tropical seeds into cold soil in March or April is risky as these tropical seeds may stall out or never germinate… so the heat mat ziplock/paper towel technique is the safest technique with the highest rate of germination success for delicate or warm climate seeds- IMO.

This is by no means the only way to germinate seeds. I am just sharing what works for our farm year after year, for the type of seeds we grow.
