Securing a license to grow marijuana isn’t easy whether you are an entrepreneur in the U.S. or in Canada. Bill Chaaban, CEO of Creative Edge Nutrition, began the application process a year ago. Known for its popular body building product Aminoplex, Creative Edge Nutrition is building a super-grow facility called CEN Biotech in Ontario that plans to sell 1.3 million pounds of marijuana a year in Canadian, Uruguay and Israel.

Cannabutter extraction technique

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
½ cup water (add more water at any time if needed)
¼ oz ground weed

Steps
1. Add ½ cup of water and 2 sticks (½ lb) of butter in a saucepan and bring to a simmer on low to medium heat. Adding water helps to regulate the temperature and prevents the butter from scorching. As butter begins to melt, add in ground weed.
2. Maintain low heat and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Make sure the mixture never comes to a full boil.
3. Pour the hot mixture into a glass container, using a cheesecloth to strain out all ground weed from the butter mixture. Squeeze or press the plant material to get as much liquid out of the weed as possible. Discard leftover weed.
4. Cover and refrigerate remaining liquid overnight or until the butter is fully hardened. Once hardened, the butter will separate from the water, allowing you to lift the cannabutter out of the container. Discard remaining water after removing the hardened cannabutter.

In this video I am germinating and planting marijuana seeds and will be covering three different ways to germinate your cannabis seeds and start growing. The first method I will cover is paper towel to soil, or as I call it fold to start into soil. I will also cover fold to start into a seed starter such as a rapid rooter, and direct planting seeds into the soil or other medium. These methods will cover how to germinate both your autoflower and photoperiod cannabis seeds and the best methods for each.

Sprouting cannabis seeds with The Soil King using The Amazing Doctor Zymes product. Featuring the infamous Soil King Signature strains M-80, Cheezle, Ghost Chronic as well as more from High Country Genetics, SoHum Seeds, DNA Genetics and many more!

It’s that time of year again for you outdoor growers. From February to as long as May. The longer you wait the smaller the plants. Soak them for a day or two then put the good ones in a paper wet towel then into the closet until they hatch. Then I put them into the soil. I mix one bag of Big ROOTZ to one bag of Black Gold Seedling Mix. Put them in deep small pots then into the greenhouse. I don’t use supplemental lighting, just natural organic lighting throughout the intire grow cycle. Just my style. Only with seeds not clones. Clones need supplemental lighting or the will flower with the hours of light out side from now to may 15th. Some people use supplemental lighting with seeds also, not me.

How to Make Cannabutter (COCONUT OIL or BUTTER) + TIPS for High Potency

Learn how to make cannabutter (cannabis infused butter) with this simple to follow recipe which includes TIPS for maximum potency. You can use either unsalted butter or for a non dairy alternative you can use coconut oil. The ratios are the same in this recipe for either. In this video I chose to use coconut oil.

Coconut Oil I use – https://amzn.to/2VYc8n1
Ratio is 1:1 = 1 cup Butter (or Coconut Oil) : 1 cup Water

You will need:

Cannabis (decarbed) – amount varies depending on desired potency
Baking Sheet + parchment paper or non stick silicone sheet
Sauce pan (one with a heavy bottom is preferred but not necessary)
Candy thermometer (not necessary but useful)
Wide mouth Mason Jar + Rubber Band
Pillowcase or cheese cloth

Step 1
Decarb Cannabis to release its psychoactive and medicinal properties by making THC and CBD more bioavailable to you.
Preheat oven to 240°F and place cannabis buds on baking sheet evenly dispersed. Bake for 30 minutes then remove from oven and break apart buds to increase surface area for better infusion.

Step 2
Add oil and water to sauce pan and turn burner on to lowest possible setting. Place candy thermometer into mixture. ***Do not exceed 200°F. Once the oil has melted into the water add cannabis and stir.
**this can be done without a candy thermometer. Just make sure the mixture does not start a full rolling boil (when the bubbles are rapidly breaking the surface). A few little bubbles are fine and indicate it’s around 200°F. Just make sure your stove element is on its lowest possible setting.

You will have to keep an eye on your butter as it will be on the stove top for 2-3 hours. Most if not all the water should be boiled off by 2-3 hours.

Once oil has completed its time on the stove stop strain mixture into a jar using a pillowcase or cheese cloth with an elastic band.

Once the mixture has been strained you can pour it into a more accessible container. Place it in the fridge for a few hours until the butter has become solid. At this point you can drain any excess water and use the cannabutter in your baking! Enjoy
