Last year, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd claimed she thought she was going to die after she ate a pot candy bar in her Denver hotel room. The incident highlighted Colorado’s on-going debate about regulating the amount of THC—the ingredient responsible for marijuana’s psychoactive effects—in all cannabis-laced edibles.

Colorado now has a 100 mg THC cap per unit on all edibles, with 5 mg being the recommended dose.

We decided to conduct our own, unscientific test about the effects of THC levels found in edibles using one, marijuana-friendly couple. We wondered, does consuming an entire pot candy bar in fact produce the same effects that Dowd experienced last year?

The good news is you can’t lethally overdose on cannabis, but you can certainly overdo it. While marijuana’s therapeutic index is 40,000:1, meaning that you couldn’t physically even consume enough cannabis to kill you, if you do happen to smoke or eat “too much,” you might find yourself feeling paranoid, hungry, or freaked out. Don’t worry however — make sure you’re in a comfortable environment with trusted friends, and if it’s available, try some CBD to take the edge off what could be an uncomfortable THC high.

Sorry for the super late post. We were supposed to post this end of season 1 but Something had happened to our camera gear and memory cards and we thought we had lost all the recorded content. After an extensive clean up we found the back ups and finally had unlocked our icloud and recovered everything. Here is the final harvest for the Sweet Purple we were growing and a demonstration on some other techniques and tools we used for trimming. We also figured out the problem we were having with the plants and we had a worm infestation in our garden. We are excited that we now know how to conquer the problem and our next season (2020) will be ever more greater than the last. Please subscribe and stay tuned.
